“Best Pasta in Brighton hands down!! Mama mi truly is one of Brightons best hidden gems. Giuseppe (the main man) is incredibly kind and charismatic and clearly loves what he does! The whole vibe of the restaurant is great too, really feels like you're back in Italy. The bruschetta was the tastiest I ever had in my life (I've had a lot) and the food overall was incredible! Shame about the opening hours but I heard they will do evening service once a week in winter.”

“Absolutely incredible eatery. Stunning variety of small plates, lovely surroundings both indoors and out, and an extensive drinks list. The food was OUTSTANDING. The chefs catered to our request to have a dish that wasn’t on the normal menu. The food came out in good time and each dish had an entirely unique and tasty fingerprint. My personal favourite was the satay mushrooms with a cherry jus (inspired by PB&J). Big shout out to Amy and Claire who were fantastic and helpful hosts!”

“We hadn’t reserved a table and we were sat quickly. We ordered 2 delicious cocktails which were good value. We ordered the Ortolan with a gluten free base and the buono and bello . Both were awesome. The service was speedy and efficient.”

Billy and his staff are very warm kind hearted folk as always they come out and say helllo the reception on arrival never disappoints the food is brilliant good sized portions that will full up the greediest of whats inside us all. Lovely melted cheesey garlic bread to start so Yummy 2 portions and a Lovely choice of food and deserts just add to its flavour and balance and cooked fresh what more could you ask for. And a lovely little happy birthday to a little girl that was celebrating her birthday which all sang happy birthday to her so to sum up a lovely meal in a fantastic little fine Restautant book your tables here and experience what Billy and his staff and brilliant service will bring you good food and staff that really care with what they are putting out 10/10”

“I think the best streak in Brighton. We've been four times, waited to review, great each time. Really well priced and amazing steaks. Friendly, knowledgeable, service. A London chain had opened up nearby. In London, they're a no brainer. In Brighton, go local and independent. Open kitchen, the counter seats are fun, the chefs serve you if you're sat there. Nice wine list. Well priced by the glass.”

“The owners are really friendly, we’ve just eaten from here tonight & the large spicy chicken wrap had so much meat inside, lovely seasoning & perfectly cooked! We also had the Lamb Shish wrap which was really tasty. It’s our new favourite place and we love its family run. Also lots of free parking outside.”

“I came for the bottomless brunch. Harri the bartender was great and made sure we always had cocktails ready to drink, there was a lovely lady called Lisa serving us. Honestly service here has always been great. I prefer the general menu to the bottomless brunch menu but that doesn’t take away from the experience at all!”

“This is a great place to bring the kids for lunch. They have delicious ice creams. Also the portions are good sized. It’s not expensive at all and it’s quite tasty. The people are quite nice, accommodating and really friendly. It’s right in the park and next to the paddling pool so the kids can have loads of fun here, you can really spend the day, and have loads of fun recommended.”

“Wonderful staff and the usual patronage / regulars are all incredibly welcoming and full of humor. Not one macro brewery to be found. All local-ish microbrews from really incredible breweries. When I return to England, even if I'm staying far from Kemptown I'm definitely popping by Hand In Hand again. Amazing!!!”
