Waste of £25. Cutlery was soiled in old food and was unclean, and when we requested clean cutlery they returned with even more dirty cutlery. As someone who is autistic and trying to work through my issues with public cutlery, having this happen pushes back my progress tenfold. I ended up just having to eat my food with my hands. I also ordered a steak, medium rare, and it came extremely well done and it was disgusting. The bbq pulled pork fries came with crispy onions despite not disclosing this on the menu online, so I ended up wasting money on food I wouldnt eat. Lastly I ordered my drink with no ice, and it came with ice. Once again, I am autistic, and absolutely cannot complain in person, so I was forced to bear and grin and just accept. Going out is a struggle as is so an experience like this was horrific. A shame as this place hasn’t been bad before, but I cannot return if this little care is put in

Food & service fabulous. After tge dinger bar staff came to ask us if we had requests for music, such a lovely touch. We were the last table there, we didn't feel like we were being rushed or pushed to leave. Even ordered a taxi for us. Fantastic night, thank you.

We were greeted with a smile and taken to our table immediately. Advised to order at the bar when we were ready. When we ordered the young girl couldn’t have been more helpful really made you feel that your order mattered. The food was served very quickly and was delicious. The only problem was that we were too full to order dessert. We will have starters and dessert next time.

Myself and my family visited on 23rd March 25 to celebrate a birthday. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service from waitress Tasha was amazing too. Amazing to have such a gem close by. Will definitely be visiting more often.

Firstly I would like to say that until now I’ve always been impressed with the food, staff and service at the Red Dragon. However, my last 2 experiences have left me furious. They first let me down at Christmas when they cancelled my booking. I suppose this was understandable but to leave it so late was an issue for me Today they have unbelievably done it to me Again!! I booked a table for 12:30 on Mother’s Day. I booked it Tuesday, had a confirmation email and text etc. Great. Today, less than 24 hours before the booking I might add, it is cancelled, AGAIN. This obviously meant that I have Zero chance of a booking elsewhere. When I phoned I was told that Mother’s Day had been fully booked for over a week. I can understand that. What I don’t understand is why I was allowed to book it on the Tuesday, get a confirmation, and then I am not told until today that it is fully booked. Shocking service!!!! There won’t be a third time!!

The day we went in was their first day for a new menu. The staff was interested to know how my partner enjoyed her “ultimate spicy burger”, she said it was really tasty but not so spicy. Staff were attentive and friendly, the food was very good so we’ll be going back.

Came here with my mum. Welcoming in when we had drinks. Decide to have food. Food was fantastic had the fish & chips and the cauliflower & red pepper curry. The fish was massive and amazing quality! Gorgeous meal even came with bread & butter! The curry was so flavourful, really nice and came with all the trimmings. Good service came quick. Both meals were great. Would definitely go here again

As a coeliac sufferer I was immensely pleased to see a gluten free menu with a good range of options. I opted for the Cowboy beef burger with fries. A plentiful meal and tasted great. Having pinched some of my partners chips I would opt for chips myself next time.. fries not being my normal choice. Excellent range of desserts from which I chose the Sundae (which was almost too much for me after the main meal.. but I manfully got through it). Really tasty!! After coffee I was well content. Staff deserve compliments too. Service was prompt and efficient with everyone so friendly. Highly recommended and I will be back!
