A well kept shop with a good range of food, handy ATM out front and the staff are helpful and friendly. One security guard is rude and behaves in a manor which creepy and unsettling. He is a large bald headed man aged approximately 55-60 and I recommend avoiding any contact with him. Otherwise, the staff are very helpful, approachable and friendly.
Good and fast combined self and teller service. Just the car park is too small. You may have to wait for others to leave.
They close at 10.55 pm not 11pm.

Definitely my go-to Tesco Branch in Norwich for convenience and small shopping trips. Though it may appear small on the outside, the branch is packed with stocked-up products with a wide range of selection. Aisles are accessible and tidy on every visit. I also got a few Evri parcels dropped off here for convenience which is great that this branch offers this. Service has always been top-notch on every visit. 5* will continue to visit as I have done for the past few years.
Loved it... Has good bunch of things is a bit expensive but it's a good place to buy certain things for sure. Good collection of lentils and pulses.
I was shocked today to see the scruffy security guard not wearing a mask and telling people without masks to just go in! This was not the guy who was normally there however but I have seen him before. Normally the big guy there is masked up looking smart. I don't feel safe going in with this security guard or customers not wearing masks. I'd rather just walk a little further to the co op where the prices are cheaper too
The location of this Tesco Express store is on the Dereham road fairly close to the city centre. It offers customer parking and an ATM which is usually working. The store is generally clean and staff are usually helpful. It can get busy at times and a different queue for the self service to the manned tills is appreciated. The downside is the over-priced items! The prices for branded and Tesco branded goods are more expensive in here than what you’d pay for same thing in larger Tesco’s, sometimes at nearly double the price! I use it for convenience to buy daily newspapers, an occasional magazine or a drink but rarely buy anything else because of this. That said it is a handy store with a small amount of everything, it’s just the prices are more similar to a corner shop so not giving the customer good value. Some products are on offer which is good but the offers are not changed very frequently and in line with the other Tesco stores or what is shown online.
