Most meat is halal without the correct and proper description for the customer. Check the meat in Sainsbury’s for the halal slaughter process as it’s not identified properly for the customer. Sainsbury’s are misleading their customers as to where and how their meat is slaughtered.
I love Sainsbury’s, shopped here for years! This week I went in to do my weekly shop to find that shelves in some sections were not re-stocked and when I went to the vegetarian section items dated 16th September when it was in fact 20th??? So not even a day out of date which I could understand! Not the quality of products I expect when shopping… come on Sainsbury’s get back to your 1st class service you normally offer your customers… I was shocked and disappointed this week… fingers crossed it improves next week
Really miss the cafe!! It was fab. Nice clean store, always well stocked and friendly staff. Toilets available in store too. Plenty of parking
This is a very nice store overall. It is spacious, well-organized, and stocked with a wide variety of items. They offer some great deals and discounts across many sections, which makes shopping here convenient and affordable. However, there are a few serious concerns. The quality of the vegetables was very disappointing. Some were clearly rotten, and a few even had visible fungus on them. This is unacceptable for fresh produce and needs immediate attention from the management. Another issue is with the staff. Some of them were so focused on restocking shelves and adding more items that they did not seem to notice or care about the customers around them. At times, they blocked the aisles and made it difficult for people to move safely. It felt like customer safety and comfort were not a priority. This store has potential, but the produce quality and staff awareness must be improved to create a better and safer shopping experience.
Very large superstore with ample parking. I used upstairs cafe and toilet. Small cooked breakfast had sausage, bacon, egg and I slice of toast. All OK but egg a bit rubbery. Cappachino was very good. Friendly service and ample seating well distanced apart. Lift or stairs to upper level and cafe
Passing through Leek called in to Sainsbury's as we don't have one local to where we live. Perhaps just different store layout but impressed with the size of the store, range of prods etc compared to our usual supermarket.
We had hoped to get lunch in Leek (never having been there). Unfortunately the main street seems to have died a sad death. Rather than press on to Congleton we gave the Sainsbury's cafe a go. The food was fine as you'd expect but we were blown away by how lovely the staff were.
Visited the store today. As expected nice clean well presented store. However major disappointment when arriving at tills to pay only two tills open queues at each one. Tanoy call made for more till operators none appeared there were noticeably staff members in other parts of the store which should have been trained for busy times. This stores been open for some considerable time and you would think staffing would not be a problem. No doubt Covid will be blamed.
Supermarket with petrol station, single story car park. There is a first floor with cafe, the customer service desk and tobacconist to the side of the entrance, along with customer toilets. Store has a clothing section to the right of the entrance, then the normal kind of layout to the left, fresh, chilled, ambient, frozen. The bakery and hot food is to the rear, with alcohol far front left. Clean and tidy store, toilets in good condition, and friendly well turned out staff.
