Really dun understand why this buffet spot has so many negative reviews. We went in on Saturday at around 1pm ish and there was not that many people in the restaurant at all. There were roughly two staff seen running the place but it’s very spacious with plenty of table and seats available. For the food I have nth but good things to say about regarding the food. So many options and the food was really tasty and flavourful. And for the price that you are paying, you cannot complain at all. I am definitely coming back again:)

I have had bad experience in Chinese buffets, but this one is by far the worst experience, arrived at 145pm to be told abruptly that the restaurant closes at 230pm. Since we were really hungry and wanted to try some Chinese food, thought will give it a try. Most of the hatches were only 10% full, some dishes cold, fried chicken was so greasy that literally the tissue got soaked, Please do not waste any time or money coming here. The only positive was the desert spread, most were tasty few tasted dry.

Absolutely Awful — Don’t Waste Your Money! This was hands-down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was disgusting — most of it looked and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Everything was cold, soggy, and bland. Even the rice was hard and dry, which says a lot. The buffet trays were barely refilled, and when they were, it was just the same tired food reheated. The desserts looked sketchy, the meat was rubbery, and nothing tasted fresh. To make things worse, the place wasn’t even clean — sticky floors, dirty tables, and plates that didn’t look properly washed. The staff didn’t seem to care at all. When we asked if something would be restocked, we got ignored. For the price they’re charging, this place is a total rip-off. I honestly regret even walking through the door. Save yourself the disappointment and go anywhere else.

I've been a dedicated Google map reviewer for over 8 years now, and i always check by myself, even if the reviews are generally bad (and BOYS, THIS PLACE HAVE SEVERAL BAD ONES!!). My advice is to always give every place a try, things can change. Anyway let talk about the food. The trays were not full when we arrived, I asked the waitress, and she said they would have been filled soon. They were. No problems there. Some of the food was not up to par (the honey roasted pork was quite hard and, I suspect, a bit old. The rest of the food was quite decent, especially for the cheap price. I will attach pics of all our dishes. My favourite was the spicy noodles, very tasty, the vegetables were well cooked and the find were falling off the bone. The chicken drumstick were, in fact, (as many of the other reviews say) a bit pink, but not so much that it'll make me worry. Mr Cook, just GET THE FEEDBACK from your client, and cook your chicken for longer!! I got 3 mildly full plates and cleaned most of them (I was thought to do not waste food, and some times just getting a smaller port as a tester, avoid wastage (especially in buffet restaurants I've seen British filling their plate, like they were not allowed to go back (or is because the lazy to go back and fill it again?) anymore. Then, they leave most of it if they do not like it). So.. small portions, taste a little bit of everything, don't take again what you don't like. Simple. The spicy noodles were very nice, the normal noodles a little bland (but I put on top bit of the sauce from the beef peppercorn, and we're fine after). Chicken drumsticks little pink, as said before, vegetables nice and crispy, rice bland, the desserts were, as many of the other reviews said, bought in some cheap supermarket and chopped into pieces, the ice cream was of the cheapest quality you can imagine (not sure were you could find that). The toilets, as another review mentioned, were a bit ... in a disarray, suggestion screm the taps back in the main basin, is not complicated and will avoid it to wiggle around, put a deodorant or a spray in the toilets, it helps and doesn't cost a fortune. Regarding the rude owner, I saw the old lady cleaning the floor a hoovering around, but I haven't got any rudeness from her maybe because we left the dishes clean and we didn't had any kids with us? The food was not bad, especially for the price. Me and the wife were OK with the place and the food. I may come again next time I'm in Bedford.

Honestly wouldn't recommend anyone going here, especially if you're a person of colour. As soon as we walked through the doors, my friends and I felt extremely uncomfortable with the manager and staff constantly staring at us throughout our 1 hour stay. Staff wasn't too friendly either but i couldn't stand the constant staring even when we were eating. There really isnt much food choices for the amount of money i spent and you have to pay a ridiculous 5 - £10 fee if you don't finish all your food. Like I said, i wouldn't recommend this restaurant, you're better off finding a much better buffet or saving your money and buying a well known takeaway.

Harko Oriental is our top pick for Chinese food when we are in Bedford. Staff are friendly, polite. The restaurant is clean & sanitised. Prices are good for the lunch time buffet. Couple of options for vegetarians. Good selection of food/ deserts. We recommend.

In the most respectful manner I was not pleased with the food this time round. Usually your food is always fresh and steaming hot on this occasion it wasn't. I asked for Thai Red curry (chicken) not just veg in Thai Red sauce, maybe there must of been a misunderstanding but the other problem is the total on the website for my food was £30 I was charged 33.60 this wouldn't of been a problem if I enjoyed my food. It wasn't fresh. I do admit the order was repeated to me before giving me the food but once again the quality wasn't there.

Most recent visit was today. Food still good with friendly and efficient staff £11.50 per head for buffet.
