   When we've had fish and chips from them it's been OK with decent portion of chips, tasty fish and crispy batter. Delivery man is lovely, always friendly and quick if the temperature of the food is anything to by. So why only 3 stars out of 5, simply because even though they offer a delivery service as soon as they get busy in the shop they won't answer the phone! No phone = no order = no food. Just when you fancy having dinner delivered you end up having to find something else or cooking because they can't be bothered to answer the phone. Delivery if you're lucky, hungry or Kebab if you're not.

   Great chippy, one of the few places down south where you can get battered haggis. Initially thought the price of £4 was pricey, but it was enormous. With chips too, it took 20 minutes, understandable as it was a special order. Though things were taking longer than usual for most, due to the protocols for Covid. They adopted a very much 'safety first' approach and though it was a bit of a faff having to wait outside, it was proably for the best. Shame I live 100 miles away, as it was great.
