Sealed delivery, no extra gravy, no extra fillets x 2. This is why I don’t order from Newhaven kfc Absolutely disgusting service. Cold food, and over £9 worth of food not delivered. No point in calling, because they don’t answer the phone. Rubbish food, amateur service !
Me and my partner went to KFC Newhaven 16/12/25 around 8:30 pm. I don’t usually make this type of review and certainly not racist as I worked in NHS for a long time but my experience was really bad. I spent so much money to be treated like this. I own a food business myself but I carry myself humbly. The female staff on duty that night, looked like from and indian descent that is working behind the counter gave me a drink that is 3/4 full with a cup full of ice with barely anything to drink. This type of service is the reason why food industry is failing. When I asked them to add a little bit more milk to just make the drink a tiny bit better but she was stopping the man from doing his job, talk over me and tell the other crew off. Instead of recognising the mistake, she argued with me. I own a business like this and I honestly would not risk my reputation for a tiny milk/fluid. The way she talked to me was very disrespectful, definitely shouldn’t be in this type of industry. I certainly will never go back in this place ever again. Employers should be more careful in employing people, not just bc they can do the job doesn’t mean they are suitable. I ended up not staying and just left immediately, instead of enjoying our food.
This is our local KFC. Like most fast food takeaways there are some good meals and some bad. Luckily the Newhaven one is pretty good most of the time. The portions are fair, the food is tasty and the staff are always friendly. The last time we visited it was packed out and very busy but we still got a friendly reception and didn't wait long for our order. The only thing I would avoid is the delivery services they use like Just Eat etc. Absolutely useless. Always missing parts of the order, wrong order, late or cold. Unfortunately these delivery companies take no responsibility for their actions and KFC tell you that you have to take it up with them. You get left stranded with no option to resolve the issue. I'm not quite sure how both parties get away with it but they do. We stopped getting deliveries from KFC Newhaven because of this.
KFC, okay who’s responsible for the car park? It’s absolutely disgusting so full of litter and bins overflowing letting this town down.
Awful, waited an eternity for food. The Zinger burger was over cooked and the actual restaurant area was a mess. Tables with discarded food left everywhere. A member of staff on her night off decided to come into her place of work and regal those still trying to work with amusing anecdotes. The staff were more interested in giving her their time to her royal visit than they were in serving the customers. So bad I'll never go back.
I have just ordered a boneless banquet on order numbers 5065 receipt number 046030212235065 and when I got home realised all that was inside the bag was chips and box containing mimi fillets. !!!! Please refund me the difference.
Order placed, told no chicken 10 mins later, was messed around on whsr they could offer but they still had nothing. Requested a refund, after 10 mins we received a partial refund in loose change not refunded to the card that was used. We then had to wait another 10 mins to finally receive a full refund again in loose change. No apology just no care at all for all the customers and the spoor service. Air conditioning was set very low on a day it was 0c outside. Restaurant was very dirty with rubbish everywhere. Generally a very bad experience. Will no return.
Accused of trying to 'have a moan up' about an inedible vegan burger and basically told they are meant to be hard and horrible! 'Manager' completely ignorant of people skills and has definitely made our decision on us dining here again- never.
3 stars is my start, add or taken away for the following reasons. Hygiene. 2/5. It’s commonplace now, that hygiene stations are being removed as concern over covid diminishes. My view is that hand washing when entering any food premises should be compulsory. KFC have not replenished their stations recently. Food. 3/5. Basic, not great, not bad, but its either a food you love or hate. I went at a busy time, the hot wings were overcooked, this is a constant. Value for money. 4/5. A little less than McDonald’s, but £20 fed four adults whike ine kebab in Seaford costs me £10. Staff. 1/5. Big, big no no. No welcome. No smile. It looked like they had all been told they had no wages coming for a month. The attitude was attend to, serve and get them out. I would not eat in here.
