I have tried a few different varieties of their bread products, but find their bread is absolutely awful. Very stodgy. Thought we would try their seeded sourdough as a last chance, really awful just disintegrated when we put a hot sausage on it, and certainly didn’t taste like sourdough. Both my husband and I couldn’t eat it. Sorry Aldi but maybe you need to take some tips from Lidl on their lovely fresh bread.
Great place to shop, always plenty of fresh produce to choose from even their ready meals. Gets busy at popular times but the shop flows along nicely with extra tills opening when needed.
Always have a good variety of items and super 6 is great. Weekly offers also very good value. Big free car park for the shopping centre, so usually parking not a problem. Bring a pound if you need a trolley.
After the Aldi in the centre of Congleton closed I thought that was it for cheap food shops but I found this on the outskirts in West Heath. Not ideal if you don't drive but taxi is an option and still cheaper than Tesco and definitely cheaper than Morrisons.
Lady on the check out was absolutely rude, disrespectful and needed some customer service training. Would not step foot in this store again!
Great store plenty of fruit and veg and a Good vegan range Inc cheese now which is brill!! The staff are friendly and helpful Just wish they had a basket check out as you can be stuck behind huge trolleys when you only have a few items.
Good produce and good selection of products and the ever tempting special buys. Ive marked it down a star because it's always blinking freezing - the A/C is always on too high.
