   First timers at T-bones. The unclassified road to get to the venue in darkness was an ordeal. The lane itself narrow with potholes and very few passing places should you encounter a car driving in opposite direction. The venue was spacious with plenty of seating. As we were deciding what to order the owner/waitress informed us a large party was due in soon so to order before their arrival to avoid waiting for our food. The starters arrived within 15 minutes and was reasonably tasty. The mains which consisted of steaks, burgers and ribs took over an hour after the starters to arrive. I was told the Tbone, Fillet, ribs and burger were cooked well and tasty however the home made chips were very crispy and hard to eat. The owner/waitress did apologise for the delay in service. I thought the staff were friendly but could've been more attentive as starters plates were left on table until shortly before arrival of mains and we had to ask for our drinks to be refreshed.

   We had an amazing meal today our steaks were cooked to perfection would definately dine here again the service was fabulous nothing was too much trouble thanks go out to Jayne and the chef it is a bit out of the way but the landscape is so beautiful just adds to the experience.

   Just had a fantastic meal here, partner had mixed grill and I had surf n turf. What stood out was how well everything on the plate was cooked. Steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the mushrooms were juicy and the chips chunky and crispy. We will definitely go back.

   Gosh what a wasted journey we had for a bank holiday. Hoping for a nice carvery on a suday in August but was really let down. Although hidden away in the landscape with a lovely view is frankly all it has to offer. Website says "dog friendly" but couldn't have been far from it. Walked into the entrance like any normal person would to be treated with "sorry dogs not allowed in this are, need to go round back via the conservatory. After sitting down for 5 mins our booking was taken. Decor is back in the 90s with the entrance and outside seating area full of cigarette ends, lovely look. Anyway we popped to the carvery that looked tired with the food looked to be pre cooked. Beef was OK but the rosties had seen better days. The Yorkshire pudding was another story. Not crispy but dry and hard to cut. My partner discovered mould inside once opened and that was enough to put me off. Manager comes over and says they were cooked yesterday hehe. No excuse and I think yesterday was 2 days before. Offered a refund on her food only and not mine until I mentioned a review will be posted. Server comes back to say all food refunded then back again to say two drinks refunded. Surprised this place has the level of Reviews based on our experience.

   Every single one of us that ate here had severe food poisoning. Scampi was raw (grey inside), lobster wasn't cooked fresh and was served cold with odd green colour inside fleshy meat, steak was overcooked then second replacement steak had patches of grey in the middle (indicating it was off) and fish had a very pungent sour flavour. I WOULD NOT recommend eating here if you care about your body. Huge portions that seem like chef is overcompensating for poor quality food and hiding errors. Definitely need quality over quantity. Chef was dressed very slobby and dirty. Kitchen untidy and dirty when we peeked in after poison suspicions. No wonder the restaurant was empty. How many more people have been poisoned? Do better T-Bones. No offer of refund or compensation either! Just replacement meals which we obviously didn't want to be poisoned more.

   Beautiful restaurant in a very idyllic setting with amazing views. Food is outstanding, service and atmosphere just as outstanding. I can't highly recommend enough

   Everyone was welcoming and polite but very disorganised. Basic ways of running and restaurant were missing- not invited to go up for the Carvery, no dedicated waitress per group of tables, had to ask to order a dessert, had to ask for the bill.
