Me and my family recently went to the deers leap for my mother’s birthday meal and would 100% reccomend to everyone! The food was great but what made our visit was the service we recieved by Rhi. She made us feel very welcomed and helped us with any questions we had. She was very caring for our table and friendly, a credit to the team. Will definitely be coming back again! :)

My partner and I decided to come here for a few drinks and we are glad we did. Welcomed with a warm smile by Rhi who suggested my partner starts with some fantastic gin. Rhi was incredibly helpful and very upbeat. A lovely personality and transformed our experience into an extremely enjoyable one. Will definitely be returning soon for some more recommendations from the staff.

Staff were terrific, food was yummy (vegetarian sausages and mash). Quite busy there and food was still served promptly. Thank you

Visited Deer's leap with our lads for lunch we hadn't been for a while. Nice relaxed atmosphere staff were very friendly and helpful. We had some food, only one issue where the burger buns were quite charred, explained to the staff who were really helpful and they changed quickly with no fuss. The food then came and was very tasty and cooked perfectly, very good for the price. Pool and darts there too which the lads enjoyed. Overall nice lunch and we would go back.

Stopped on the way home from a meeting for a quick lunch. The service was fast and friendly. The food was way beyond the normal pub offering. It was served piping hot, week cooked, well presented and delicious. One of the best pub meals I've ever had

Managed to get a table, as quite a lot were already reserved. Ordered and took advantage of one of their offers. Food didn't take too long, and was enjoyable. Two mains - a hunters chicken and a mega mixed grill.

Went with two little ones for lunch. I ordered the Mac Daddy (mac n cheese, bacon on a sirloin steak, chips, mushrooms, onion and tomato). I asked for it medium-rare but it came medium-well. I'm not too fussy so ate it anyway, that would be my only criticism. The little ones enjoyed their children's meals which are very good value. Great staff and atmosphere - nice place for a pub lunch or dinner.

I grew up drinking in this pub, in fact it was the first pub I ever got served in when I was 15! It was always busy and had amazing staff. However after my visit on Saturday, it’s fallen down so far! Saturday at 2pm we had booked for, all 5 of us were crammed on a small table, fridges were empty and a very limited selection. Food was very disappointing, my rare steak was chewy and raw, one of our party didn’t get her meal (it was only a chicken burger) the burger was dry and had definitely been sat under a heat lamp, the two deserts we ordered (2 x vanilla ice creams) took 15 minutes to be delivered to the table. Won’t be returning until they get their act together.
