I rarely leave reviews, but this experience truly deserved one. Visiting Norwich for a work Christmas celebration, we dined at The Last Wine Bar and were completely blown away. From the beautifully festive private dining room to the impeccable service every detail was flawless. We enjoyed an elegant canapés and drinks reception followed by an exquisite 3-course menu. The atmosphere was vibrant a truly memorable experience. My first visit to Norwich & England ,and I was thoroughly impressed. We drank a lot of wine and had the best time, I loved that we had our own private room so we could get loud without worrying about other dinners.

My husband and I had a small wedding ceremony in 2024, and we wanted a simple yet beautiful celebration afterwards. We chose The Last based on the menu and the reviews, and we are so happy we did! Sebastian and his team made our special day even more memorable. Everything was impeccable—the attention to detail, the delicious food, the incredibly attentive staff, and the wonderful atmosphere. We were so pleased with our experience that we returned with our family to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, this time for a Sunday roast. Amazing restaurant!

We had a fabulous evening. Thank you so much!. The food was beautiful (as you can see from the photos) and delicious. The team were amazing - really relaxed and on the ball. Can’t wait for our next visit! I’m eyeing up the Sunday Lunch and Afternoon Tea!

The last is a beautiful restaurant, I highly recommend whoever is visiting Norwich, the food is amazing, the way they present the food, the quality and of course makes the perfect vibes when having either a catch up or a special occasion. The service is 5 star, from the waitress and of course the manager who I personally know, and watching him do his thing shows he has great passion for this restaurant. The question is am I coming back 100%.

We had an intimate wedding reception here just a couple of weeks ago (early June), and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Sebastian was the perfect host, taking care of everything, even though he was probably up against it, as all the planning was very loose on our side! Pretty much all the arrangements were done by email or video, with a couple of quick drop ins. The canapés were delightful and the food was fabulous. I forgot to take pictures after the canapés because it was all so delicious we all got stuck in!! The service was excellent, we had everything that was wanted to make this the most perfect wedding. Thanks so much Sebastian and also for all the wonderful waiting staff and the fabulous chefs! ❤️

Had an amazing Sunday lunch here. Very rarely go for three courses but the menu had so many delicious sounding dishes we just had to go for it. Starters we went for were so tasty. Can highly recommend the Ox cheek doughnut! The beef main has to be one of the Sunday lunches I've had out. The meat was cooked to perfection accompanied by some sizable roast potatoes, heritage carrots, savoy and red cabbage and cauliflower cheese to die for! At this point Sunday lunch out is normally over but the desserts called out. "The Last" blood orange cheese cake with pistachio ice-cream and flacked almonds was so tasty. Then we come to the cheese board of locally sourced cheeses with biscuits. The gap between courses could have been a little quicker but gave time to prepare for the next but for a busy Sunday, great company and a delight on the taste buds I'll let that go.

Met a friend in the cafe section for lunch. Reasonably priced small menu of specials or sandwiches from the counter. I had a smoked salmon and creamed cheese bagel with avocado which appeared to have some citrus dressing. It was the tastiest bagel I have ever eaten and well worth the £5 I paid. Cakes looked yummy, but resisted.

The food was okay. One of the starter was amazing, the other was not very good, but the main, which was a special, was delicious and made up for it, but unfortunately there were only 2 members of staff on, which meant service was not great. We waited at the bar 35 minutes before even receiving a drink. And it didn't seem busy. We felt for the two members of staff who seemed stressed and harassed, but that didn't then relay a great dining experience for us. So for £100 with a £12 tip, unfortunately it wasn't on point. Would like to go back though, and hope the owners would consider staff levels at dinner time, to see if service improved. Felt the overall atmosphere was lacking, music was so quiet couldn't hear it, and you felt you had to whisper to talk. It's such a lovely restaurant in decor and location, and I hope a few tweaks to service level and atmosphere could make it great again.

The expectations were somehow high as we wanted to celebrate our friend’s birthday with a nice dinner. We ordered all the starters and one main each. Everything was mediocre, especially the Kentucky fried octopus and the cod, but what troubled us the most was that the order came wrong. For a £40 dinner in Norwich, let’s say service is simply not good enough. Pity.

Thanks so much for everything you did to make our night special. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was perfect, the wine was stunning and the team were so professional. Plenty of locally sourced ingredients too! Beautiful place, would definitely recommend! See you soon.
