Incredible food, all carefully sourced by the new owner who is extremely passionate about what he does. Highly recommend the Asado steak and venison loin. Amazing sides and puddings. You will not leave hungry! Very dog friendly. Makes own gin and rum too - great Xmas presents.

Great Overnight Stay at The Gower Inn, Mumbles We stayed at The Gower Inn in Mumbles for a one-night stopover and had a great experience. We arrived quite late—around 11pm—and hadn’t realised that check-in usually ends at 8pm. Fortunately, a lovely lady kindly waited behind for us, which we really appreciated after a long day of travelling. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a good-sized TV and a huge bathroom that included both a bath and a shower—definitely more than we expected for a short stay! It was quiet, clean, and well-appointed, making it easy to relax before continuing our journey. Only downfall was the pub style / quality toilet roll. Would happily stay again if passing through the area. Great service and very comfortable accommodation.

I hardly ever do reviews but this place truly warrants one. From the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and fantastic. The food was literally to die for and service impeccable. I would drive a long way to come back here. Very much dog friendly too which is important for many of us. Plenty of character and lots of space too

Haven't been here in years. Popped in for lunch Friday afternoon and I was really impressed with the quality of the food! Fair prices with the amount of food you get. The Mussels were lovely, big portion. So was the pie / burgers. I will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Amazing food. Great atmosphere, great staff. (Thanks Eden) Popped in from the campsite and didn’t expect such lush food. All other dishes I could see looked amazing too. Probably the best burger I’ve ever had. Definitely definitely go back again when down that way.

Called here on the off chance last night, we are so glad we did, food was amazing, price was reasonable and the staff although very busy took the time to chat with us, we would definitely recommend calling here for a meal. Thank you for a lovely evening

Great food. Fast and helpful service, Lionel!!! We got there after 2pm and the (yummy) food was cooked to order. Gladly surprise with the generous portions and fair prices. Free (limited by time) car park for patrons We will try to come back when in the area.

A disappointing experience. Stopped here for a lunch and had a good Rib Eye steak with a very sad, wilted side salad (that was served instead of ‘glazed seasonal veg’ and a boat of peppercorn sauce that was clearly on its second use (two high tide marks). A tomato and basil soup was served in a filthy bowl, which I’ll optimistically assume was from stirring after reheating. Disabled toilet’s and changing facilities were dirty. Looks like it has the potential to be a really nice place if and possible we caught them on a bad day. Felt like it was a very junior team with no oversight. Good beer/cider selection.

Visited the gower over the weekend with a few friends and the dogs after a walk. Staff were very friendly and attentive. There is a good range of dishes on the menu which are great value for the price. The dogs loved all the attention from the staff. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

We stopped here for lunch whilst on holiday and sat outside. We had a Rump Steak Philly sandwich which came with a side salad and a portion of sweet potato fries and chicken and chorizo skewers. The portions were generous and the food was well cooked and tasted great! Would recommend!
