A proper pub, that has it all good beers and drinks, good food, and a great atmosphere. Visited over last 14years and it stays traditional what a pub should be. Now live nearly 200 miles away and the first place we head for when in area. Just keep up the good work.
2 great real ales on offer. Dark Star Hophead only £4.30. Definitely a locals pub The pub is unfussy and traditional It was a bit cold but the welcome was fairly warm and the regulars friendly Use your locals or lose them! Or It'll cost more to travel to get to a decent one
Lovely little country pub which is family run with good old fashioned hospitality & great ales, we had a superb sunday lunch all freshly cooked & very reasonably priced, a very welcoming pub with a nice fire for the winter months & the locals who are very friendly frequently prop up the bar...
I was disappointed that dogs are not allowed in the pub and was directed to use the garden. However I pay a premium for a drink and would expect to use the facilities. I live nearby in Tibenham and ALL the local pubs including those with restaurants allow and welcome dogs. In these times I would imagine a country pub need all the custom they can get. I fear that country pubs that don't want to listen to customers or improve the customer experience possible won't be around in the near future. I left the pub and went to Burston for a meal and drink where my dog was made very welcome.
Good pub with friendly staff and changing ales. Food available. Plenty of parking and outside space.
Good ol fashion family run country pub with great service friendly staff and real home cooked food. Great value for money. Great to support local business so would recommend
I had a nice snack with a proper crispy lettuce salad and a really good real ale for my lunch. A wood burner provided some warmth on a cold day.
