THE best Indian restaurant, in the world. We come here every week. My wife asked for Chicken Phaal, not on the menu, and the chef delivers each and every time. Happy wife, happy life. On top of that my meal is brill and the service is superb. Excellent and highly recommend

We had an enjoyable meal at the Spice Den, the restaurant was smart, clean and very well presented with luxurious décor. The menu had a good range of dishes, what we ordered was tasty and flavourful. The prices also seemed really reasonable. Two of the waiting staff were very friendly and accommodating, the only thing that let the experience down was being hurried along towards the end of our meal by the more senior male waiter. Allegedly there was another booking on our table after us, I don’t think this was the case as there were a number of empty tables and no one arrived for the table. I would possibly go back here, though would be hesitant after the unfriendly behaviour from one of the staff.

Came in it was all great and good vibe. But through my main course whilst I was eating I realised that there was a fly in my food. The manager blamed it on saying that it came from outside but we were in the corner and we didn’t see any flies near us. This is a serious hygiene concern because what if we got food poisoning from it? 100% would not recommend.

Food was very tasty! Arrived a little later than expected, but didn't matter as it was hot and yummy. Rice was a little firmer than I would have liked, but still edible, and onion bhajis could be improved. But overall, it was a good experience and would order again from them. They also gave me a £5 voucher for my next order!

Love this place, weather eating in or having a takeaway I dont think they have ever got it wrong, I never really ate curry but since eating there i have now tried most of the menu and have loved it all even my children craze for it and the staff are fantastic always helpful and spend time chatting to us, seeing how we are keeping. Would definitely recommend the spice den and can guarantee i will be visiting again soon.

Food was delicious, we had the dark back room to ourselves for a work Xmas do, atmosphere was great, they didn't forgot anyone's order, food was brought out quite quickly considering there was quite a few of us. The man that took our order was chatty, witty. Toilets are a bit of trek when you are full, up the stairs and not amazing standards compared to the restaurant but you can let it go when you've had such a good evening.

We enjoyed a very nice restaurant meal here. They do a good value "Gourmet night" on a Wednesday with a fixed price for a choice of starter, main, side and rice or naan plus coffee. Also takeaway. Only downside was that they only do coffee not tea. The meals were delicious and good sized. Highly recommended.
