   ordered from there website, 2 hours later it turns up. sent onion samosa instead of onion bahj. didnt say they didn't have any. wrong rice and curries was cold . very poor service as couldn't speak to manager or owner

   Hadn’t been for a while and was concerned at a batch of recent poor reviews. However, all of those reviews related to a recent delivery issues that has seemingly now been fully addressed. On entering the restaurant it was nice to see it full and with a warm buzz to the atmosphere. We were also met my a barmaid who was quick to ask us if we wanted a drink before being seated. On the food front I had the King Prawn Maribar, which I can highly recommend as the flavours were incredible and the King Prawns were chunking and tasty. My friend had the Massala and going by the empty plate at the end, I’m presuming that was also enjoyed lol. The side dishes and breads were also very tasty and accompanied the many dishes perfectly. The only slight downside was that they forget to bring out our popadoms and we ended up having them with our main dishes but considering it was their busy and popular Wednesday Banquet night, it was a small issue. Lowestoft is lucky to have a number of very good Indian Restaurants and this earns its place alongside them.

   3 hours and 3 calls later, the order still hadn't left the restaurant. It's a real shame, because the food had been really, really good the previous few times we'd ordered. Sadly, the customer service and management has let the place down, and we won't be ordering here again. For management, if it's going to be delayed, please be open with your customers as it allows them to make alternative arrangements without damaging your business, as had we had a call to say it was really busy and would take 2+ hours we'd have gone elsewhere this time and returned at a later date. Not anymore though.

   Saturday night & during the entire evening just 3 tables were occupied! Hardly surprising, as we were served Poppadoms, then waited 2 HOURS for the main course, as Takeaways were given absolute priority. Food just O.K., & certainly not worth the wait. NEVER AGAIN!!!

   Ordered for delivery, food arrived and after looking in bag realised a a naan bread was missing. Called restaurant immediately who advised would send the item out. After nearly an hour phoned restaurant and female lied about offering to have the option to have the item on a future order instead. Asked for a refund due to delay and the fact we wouldn’t be eating a naan bread near an hour after our food arrived but female stated she would only refund if we attended the restaurant. I asked why a delivery person could not drop the money off on their deliveries but she refused. Asked to speak to manager but he was away apparently for three days. Thankfully the delivery driver who eventually arrived with the bread was polite, understanding and provided us the money from other deliveries.this was our preferred Indian in the town but after this experience wouldn’t use again. Female staff member needs some training on customer service and a manager needs to be available to oversee their restaurant and deal with such issues.

   Visited for the 1st time after living here for 1 year. Food was 100% how Indian cuisine should be. Service was friendly and fast but we were there before the rush. They even put what wasn't eaten in a takeaway box. Paying at the end of a fantastic night out with the family was difficult as the card machine wouldn't connect to their WiFi but after 3 attempts it worked, at least my money stayed in my bank for a little longer. Will visit again soon definitely.
