   It was the worst we have ever had. All was warm, nearly cold, on arrival. The chicken was chewy, and so were both the naan breads. The naan breads are very thin now, too. The rice tasted nice, although cold—binned two-thirds of the dinners.

   Great curry, a really great curry. I eat a lot of curries and this one is great. I think this might be the best value for money curry I’ve ever had! When they brought the bill I thought there was a mistake… But alas! It was correct, just exceptionally reasonably priced. I will certainly be returning when I next find myself in the vicinity of the Raj Mahal. What an establishment, and might I say… a better experience than the Taj Mahal.

   Not very nice food, very bland,.. Heat, no spice?!.. The onion Bahjis were raw.. the egg rice smelt like washing liquid & had hard bits in the rice.. Flat bottled, warm cola. All through the meal we was the only couple in the restaurant throughout the whole experience the waiter just kept walking past us back & fourth... I finished my meal first & he swept my plate while my friend was still eating which I found rude. Lacks flavour, customers & experience hospitality experience.

   Dine in. Food was lovely and the staff were very attentive throughout the night. We had a range of dishes and all of them arrived hot and full of flavour. Be warned though, the restaurant has no alcohol licence but the staff were very happy for us to pop to the shop 3 doors down to get some to go with dinner. Nice one Raj Mahal.

   Hi we had a takeaway on Monday the lamb in the vindaloo was tough beef both currys lacked any flavour they did not send the rice there was no complimentary onions to go with the popadoms i said i was a new customer and they failed completely for £26 we got chapatis 2 mains onion bahjeee sodden in grease cold and not crispy, this was one of the worst £26 worth we have had dont waste your money

   Overall it was just OK. It's under new management and the previous reviews don't reflect the current experience. Chicken was dry and not a lot of flavour in the sauce. There was only one waiter present who was clearly overloaded managing us, the only other 2 customers and all the online orders. We were served food in good time after ordering and nothing was missed, but just the quality was very average and boring. The drinks were limited to cans of soft drink still served in their cans. The decor was very dated and not very comfortable. It all felt very much like someone's nan's old home kitchen just cobbled together. Don't have an alcohol licence either yet. Overall not the professional quality you expect from a restaurant - loads of room to improve. Not planning to visit again.

   All food nice . Delivery arrived started taking items out of bags to find 4 items missing. Called up straight away and said about it to the gentleman who relayed back to a woman for her to shout back very rudely to say it was all there when taken . This made us feel like we were being called liars. I can not get over the rudeness off her. Very unprofessional.

   AMAZING FOOD!! We loved the hospitality and the customer service here. Special thanks to the chef who took such a great care of our food tastes and were very welcoming. The Veg Biryani was the best we had in UK till date. Such authentic flavors. Not to miss the restaurant when you are at the beach again.
