   I visited Spice Cottage a few days ago, and it was absolutely worth it. This was my first time trying Asian food in Diss, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The menu offers a great variety of choices. We tried two different biryanis and a mixed grill, along with naan and vegetable curries. Everything was delicious, but the vegetable curry really stood out as the most satisfying dish. The customer service was excellent, with very friendly and welcoming staff. The ambience was calm and inviting, and the restaurant has a spacious layout, making it ideal even for large groups. I will definitely be visiting again.

   Tasty food with VERY attentive service. The curries are spicy and delicious however the staff continually come to the area to check if things are ok (they come every minute and it can get very irritating as the area we were sat in was pretty compact with only 4 tables in close proximity). Also the chutneys they provide with poppadoms are not complimentary, with this being part of the menu but sneakily written.

   Food was okay but cold when arrived so had to put it in the microwave. Arrived over 40 minutes late and when I called up 20mins after arrival time I got told it would be here “any minute now”. When arrived they missed my order and got told it would take another 45/50 mins for a refund or for them to redeliver. Received no refund or food by the end of the day. Very disappointed

   2nd time we have visited, 1st time brilliant great food and staff, however 2nd visit although we had booked it took an hr to be served with a poppadom and a beer. We had to leave without our main course as we had an appointment elsewhere.

   Would highly recommend. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Best curry I've had for years. We ordered from the Nepalese menu as this was new for us. Food was amazing. Good size portions and so full of flavour, with a comfortable spice level. The restaurant was busy with a constant flow of people to eat in and collecting takeaway, with no long waits for food. Would definitely recommend trying the malai lamb chops and the Goan lamb shank
