Small, but wonderful Japanese restaurant, my family and I had a variety of starters and main dishes, all very delicious, and authentic. So, great food, and great service! I will have to return.

I can’t add second review after another visit, so I will just post new photos of another fantastic food we had. Karaage chicken was fabulous, my partner said it was best Japanese food he ever had. I had chicken noodles and I must say I was surprised with amazing taste and texture, definitely best noodles I ever had in my love. I can’t wait to be back and try more delicious meals from menu. Thank you also for such a lovely service.
We had a cute lunch date here. I love sashimi so much and it's one of only two places that do it locally, I hope they add more fish to the menu ☺️ We ordered to collect tonight with friends, everything is so delish! Great service.
Delicious and authentic tasting Japanese food, the food tasted better than from most of the restaurants in central London. The staff and service was excellent, and the price was very reasonable for the generous portions of food provided. I had the chicken teriyaki with rice which is my baseline to compare Japanese restaurants, and this did not disappoint. Rice was perfectly cooked, chicken was grilled and seasoned wonderfully as it was not salty like the stuff from chain restaurants. Then proceeded to devour the delicate chicken udon miso soup. The miso was well balanced and not super salty like the cheap restaurants elsewhere. Staff and service was excellent, highly recommended.
Delicious food ,authentic flavours and very nice staff. Arigato stall is definitely my favourite in Heist Market. Keep up the good work Yuka and the team.
Shame no sushi on the menu apart from sashimi which was £13 a portion very small 5 piece never had such a small portion with the sashimi cut half the size of what is done elsewhere with x3 in price. the tuna was poor quality the atmosphere in the place was nice but no one greets you at the door so you have no idea to stand and wait or take a seat sadly I won't be returning
Thoroughly enjoyed the food, amazing drinks and just all-round lovely. It was a pleasure to have had the chance to try some of the cuisine. We will be back at some point!
Tried this place for the first time last Saturday. Atmosphere was good, and was very busy. We ordered sashimi and some Karaage (Air Fried Chicken). Both dishes were very nice. BUT, the amount of salmon in the sashimi was shocking. I have NEVER seen such a small amount of salmon in a sashimi dish. Which in itself is not a problem, until you hear that they charged £11.00 for it! Way over priced IMHO, and that reason alone i have given them a 3 start rating and will not be going back there. Sadly.
Absolutely amazing! The best rice I have had in years and wonderful service. Delicious and well thought out dishes and a lovely atmosphere. Really sweet and attentive staff as well. If you visit Hastings then Arigato is a MUST!!
