Great Italian eatery in Bungay. Nice range of food including a lovely vegan pizza. Lemon sorbet was superb! Definitely worth going out of your way for.

We booked a table for 4 online, sadly we didn't get a response(after checking my junk as well), so followed it up with a call to confirm which it had been booked. When we arrived we were greeted by the team and shown to our table. The dinning room was clean and well lit. We ordered the calamari, white biat and garlic bread for starters, all lovely. Followed that by the pork belly, chorizo Carbinara and meat calzone with chips. A slight wait on the Calzone but certainly worth the wait. Again all lovely. We finished with lemon cheesecake, tiramisu and chocolate lava cake finished off a lovely meal in a great way. We spent a round 2 hours, but was really relaxing (even with the family table with young children near us) because there was no rush with the food. We will be back in the future as this was a real treat.

Most disgusting response EVER I called to make enquiries about bringing a party of 6 for a birthday meal, the birthday boy being coeliac, so what were their GF options. I was told by the lady who answered the phone that they couldn't guarantee any cross contamination (I understand this) and that 'the chef won't want to cook for you' !! How charming?! I was so looking forward to coming here after just moving to the area but after this I will NEVER set foot in this place to save chef any hard work. Disgusting. In response to your response - had you have explained all of this on the telephone it would have been completely fine and accepted as this is obviously the reason I called, to have this conversation to ascertain if it was viable to bring my partner to you as we have learnt the hard way before, where restaurants have indeed not been honest about their cross contamination issues. My with issue with you is the disgusting response of 'the chef won't want to cook for you' - how do you honestly think that makes someone suffering with a disease like feel? It's shameful and you should be ashamed of this response and apologising for it, not defending it. Would you 'not want to move chairs' for a lady in a wheelchair or 'rearrange tables' for a lady with a buggy. It's just disgusting and from that response you should be utterly ashamed.

The food was superb. I'm definitely going again. The price was fair. The service was good, with the food coming surprisingly fast. We have no complaints whatsoever. An Italian restaurant near us without having to go to Norwich is a big bonus! Thank you to the owners and staff for a genuine experience.
