   Having been to Thailand on multiple occasions we were so very surprised and delighted to have found such an authentic Thai restaurant. We tried multiple dishes which were all superb. Staff attentive and friendly, nothing was too much bother. Lastly a thank you to the very kind manager who assisted us with our elderly parents.

   The food is the best Thai food you will find out of Thailand!!! Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The new location is great, less intimate but means more chance of getting a table. My favourite restaurant in Bedford

   The food was mixed quality. I had the corn fritters to start and these seemed to be very overcooked. They were hard and really crispy. Not what I was expecting. I had Pad Thai with prawn and that tasted great. Unusual presentation with a single large lettuce leaf on the plate.

   We visited Tana Lounge for the first time, having previously eaten at their old location on numerous occasions. On first impressions, it’s a lot bigger, louder, and you can clearly see a big investment has been made. We were seated at our table and ordered drinks. Unfortunately, the Shiraz had sold out, so we opted for a lovely Merlot. We ordered our food and enjoyed the starters. The mains arrived; however, there had been some confusion, and there was a 4/5 minute wait until my wife’s dish was ready. Again, both mains were lovely. Mine packed some heat and delivered the 3 chilli rating. So, food-wise, there were no complaints; service was efficient. My only criticism is that it didn’t feel like a Thai restaurant; it felt very impersonal and had lost its character we loved. That’s a personal opinion. I’d happily visit again but with a group of friends, but not on a date night. Thank you. Nick Ps my wife said to mention that the ladies’ toilets were freezing. I never got to try the gents’, so I can’t comment.

   We went to Tana Thai tonight because we're staying in a hotel for work and wanted a change. The food and service were incredible. Would definitely recommend. Especially the penang.

   Had a lovely meal with the wifey. Would go again in the future. Service was really good. We originally ordered some noodles but it was a bit too spicy but they were happy to remake it to be more mild. Food tasted fantastic.

   Nice Thai restaurant. Good menu selection. I had Chicken Pad Kee Mao which was spicy and great for my palette, my daughter had Chicken Gaeng Massaman Curry which was delicious. Lots of Chicken which was very tender. They do lots of takeaway which was slowing service for those dining in it seemed.

   My previous experience dining at Tana Thai was nothing short of faultless and second to none in both service and the quality of authentic Thai food served. So I had high expectations for my second visit and was not left disappointed. We ordered the Thai experience for 2 for £27, which in my opinion was excellent value for money. The staff once again were welcoming and accomodating ensuring we had an enjoyable and pleasant dining experience. Tana Thai manages to deliver a varied menu with generous portion sizes. If your looking for authentic Thai flavours with subtle flavour combinations of hot, spicy, sweet, and sour then Thana Thai gets a A+ from me every time. We will definitely back in the future. My friend and I dined at Tana Thai for the first time tonight, we were not disappointed. We have dined at other Thai restaurants in Bedford and would certainly place Tana Thai along side the best of them for flavour and authenticity. The service from the staff was both friendly and prompt. The mixed starter for two was filling and tasty, with the Thai spring rolls certainly being the star of the show. We ordered beef in black bean sauce with egg fried rice and a mixed seafood pad thai. The beef was succulent and tender and the seafood was cooked perfectly with a mixture of crushed nuts on the side for texture. An excellent meal and excellent service, thank you.
