   This is the 2nd time I have ordered fish and chips on a Friday night. To be honest the delivery was late but no fault of the shop rather more do with Just Eat Driver. The fish was so freshly cooked and right amount of batter. The chips were freshly cut from real potatoes not that powder stuff you get in other places. Over all the service was Great and probably next time would be better to go in person to collect. But well worth the wait for the freshly cooked fish and chips.

   Is there anyone in bedford that can make a decent fish and chips. Another shop another disappointment. The batter was to thick and crunchy felt like a crunchie bar lack of flavour. the chips soggy and not crunchy and the curry sauce just watery and flavourless

   I don’t know what change they made… Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Chips like never before and the fish fresh and affordable. Don’t normally leave reviews but was really taken back by the taste! Thankyou king cod will be coming back

   Bought some fish and chips this evening. Not impressed with presentation. Chips Luke warm and from the bottom of the chip tray. The cut of the Chips seem to be what other chip shops don't want. They are over fried like the Cod. King Cod I know you can do better than this as I have bought from you before. Recently, purchase is not good, standard is dropping. Our neighbours have recommended elsewhere. We will try alternative and that is time for you to raise your standard and hygiene. The chip frying lady should not be serving customers, taking money and then returning to her frying position. Unhygienic.

   I was put off this chip shop years ago, but decided to give them another try last week. I had their small fish chips and curry sauce. This was cooked perfectly, nice light batter on the fish chops golden brown. I will certainly be going back again.

   Popped in here for a quick chicken burger in here after a busy day. The young chap serving didn't seem to know what kind of chicken burgers they served (chicken fillet burger was the correct answer) he then mistook my negative answer for a positive one when he enquired if I wanted cheese on my chicken burger, however this misunderstanding was only realised when said burger was presented. Upon pointing out the very obvious cheese slice hanging out of the side of the burger, he claimed it didn't have cheese in dismissively until I made him look at it. I told him I wanted no cheese, he looked at the receipt and said I'd asked for cheese. I had not and never would. He then turned to blame the chef, who immediately apologised for the server's mistake. The food was average for the cost, very little taste in the somewhat overcooked chicken. I had heard good reviews of this place from friends however I regretfully have to say, I was less than impressed, by both the service and the quality of the food.

   Really fancied some chips..Oh they're just cooking.. Thought lovely and fresh took them away drove off and started to pick at the chips..i would say the worst ever they were warmed up from lunches leftovers. I ate 5 chips and threw them away. Never again will I set foot in there or recommend it to anyone. Couple of kids serving and cooking.
