This was the best pub we have visited in a long time and is in the lovely little village of Odell near Sharnbrook. The landlady took over 5 months ago and is doing a fantastic job by the looks of things and was very welcoming too. We had a few pints and a homemade sausage roll each which was excellent but my favourite thing about our visit was just how friendly this pub is. Many people spoke and sat near us with their friendly dogs who managed to negotiate some cheese nibbles from me! This is a beautiful little pub, full of character and very charming too... Beams everywhere and roughly 400 years old.... But this dog/family friendly pub is perhaps the nicest atmosphere I've come across! Don't change! Visited 19th of December 2025.

Odell WI chose The Bell for our Christmas meal and we are so pleased we did. The service was attentive, nothing was too much bother, there was a lovely atmosphere but above all the food was perfect: beautifully presented and every mouthful was delicious, more chef food than pub grub. The scotch eggs are legendary and they didn’t disappoint! It is not easy serving 18 so the service was inevitably a bit slow but it really didn’t matter. This was just the right place for a celebratory meal in the heart of the village. Thank you The Bell staff, you really stepped up to the mark. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Walked across the Country Park yesterday for brunch at The Bell on a day when many pubs do not serve any food at all. A roaring log fire in a 17th century, thatched pub, with a friendly and relaxed welcome from Chevonne, a choice of superb real ales and fab food could not have been bettered. It's little wonder that there were plenty of people there, though our food came just at the right time. A great way to spend a few hours.

The Bell was such a great find. Lovely food, good beer in a nice friendly environment. The staff were happy, hardworking and fun. I am so happy we looked it up and took the time to go.

Nice little place in a v quaint setting near a country park. Staff young but friendly and efficient. V broad choice of food and wasn't expecting anything special when I ordered the steak but was very pleased with a beautifully cooked and very generously portioned meal. Family had other mains from menu and were equally impressed.

I parked in Harrold country park and walked to Odell for lunch. The beer was nice and well kept. The landlord and staff were friendly and helpful. Lunch was great grub and I was nicely stuffed, and I nearly refused a pudding, (rhubarb crumble) until I was reminded pud occupies a different compartment. The pub is a bit of a tardis with a reasonably sized beer garden too, but its cozy. Dogs are allowed inside and my nervous collie finally settled down after a bit of coaxing by the landlord. Most importantly, I'll be back once I've had a good lie down

A pretty traditional old village pub situated in Odell by the river Ouse. There is a lovely beer garden at the back with views over the river and car parking. Friendly and helpful staff who were happy to take the walking group orders on the day. They do a fish of the day dish but check beforehand, because on this occasion the trawler hadn’t landed. For beer drinkers they serve 5 Real Ales, 2 are permanent ‘Greene King IPA’ and ‘Abbot Ale’, with 3 rotating guest ales. Muddy boots and dogs are welcome here and it’s a delightful spot to set of for a variety of country walks.

Good homely pub, welcome atmosphere. Garden out the back next to the parking. Beautiful views. Dogs allowed inside and outside. Good menu, reasonably priced and fast service. I cannot fault this pub at all, one to visit !! Easily found on the main road.
