Very cosy cafe , love it here. Prices are very good for a treat out. I definitely recommend the chips and having a mocha in the cafe!
I would not recommend, burnt sausages served in breakfast items. Baguettes dry no butter or margerine. Owner went silent after I requested a refund. Spend your money elsewhere.
Great breakfast, friendly staff and value for money. We stayed at the Travellodge up the road, which does not serve food, this cafe is a 5 minute drive, highly recommended.
New to the area and was out for a walk. Came across this delightful friendly place and had a coffee with a naughty but nice cake. It is also a post office with bits of stationery so a real useful find. Staff are welcoming to add to a great atmosphere. Plenty of food on the menus. I will be returning to sample some of it. What I did see was well presented, good portions and great value for money. Just pop in I don't think you will be disappointed.
It was a bold and refreshing move to open a new cafe in 2020 but I think they have got it exactly right. All day breakfast, the usual range of light bites, jackets and very nice coffee give plenty of variety. The staff are lovely and having a post office and paper shop on the same premises is surprisingly useful. 2022 update: the food offering remains good and there is now more choice available. It's nice to see an independent business doing well despite starting out in difficult times.
Good quality enjoyable breakfast and coffee, price slightly over average for what you get.
My first visit today for a takeaway coffee. Coffee was good, donut was light and fluffy (and very tasty). The service was quick and friendly. Overall, great! It's really nice to have somewhere local to get a decent coffee.
