Never been disappointed! Food is great.. portions are plentiful. The service is excellent. The pub has a lovely ambiance. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. An obviously very well managed establishment which is why we keep going back. Definitely recommend!
Amazing Sunday lunch. I had the trio of Beef, Pork and Lamb. With sticky toffee pudding for dessert.
Stopped by for an early evening meal and wanted to sit outside. We were thinking about pubs with nice outdoor seating areas and remembered this one. Had some nibbles to start then had three very nice mains. A classic Caesar salad with chicken red Thai curry with chicken and Sticky Korean Glazed Pork Belly, all great meals. I would recommend any of these.
Really impressed! Came for a meal with a friend, would recommend booking online as it looks like it gets busy! We had a starter to share and the ceased salad. Food was really yum. Service was great, our waiter was really kind and attentive. It’s really beautiful inside and plenty of parking. Will definitely be coming back! Also came for sunday lunch and can confirm it was nice!
I have never eaten here before but I will definitely be back. The service and food were excellent and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. The food was delicious and the menu is varied. Overall a lovely place to eat. The waiting staff were outstanding. Polite, efficient and they all look like they want to be there. We'll done!
I have been here twice now, once for lunch and once for dinner. Both times I was really impressed with the food and the service. The menu has a lot of choices. I haven't had to reserve a table yet, I just turned up and asked for a table for two, but it may be an idea to do so as it seems like a very popular spot. The pub is in a great location, too. Highly recommend the red lion and I will definitely go back again. Thanks
Superb pub, came across it by accident on a trip out. The pub is in a sleepy village so quiet as you sit enjoying your meal. We sat outside and had a lovely meal with ambient music at a low level it made for a very pleasant stop. Staff were quick and courteous and the food was sensational. Would highly recommend for a meal or just for a drink as your passing.
Very friendly staff and good service. The food is excellent, although there is a somewhat limited vegetarian selection. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is friendly.
