   me and friends are student at uon so this bar is convenient for us, it’s got great food and a lively atmosphere. We went today for the sunday dinner with illuminated kitchen and feel insulted, we came at 3pm no one seated us we seated ourselves we were told to wait for someone to come over to take our order and waited 45 minutes, moving on the food didn’t come till 5.30pm almost 2 hours after ordering. We know there is a wait for food however every table around us was served in half the time tables that came in a hour after us were being served before us, we were offered any compensation and to add on to this when our food came we were told there were no more yorkshire puddings but that they would be brought over in 20 minutes we waited and they weren’t brought over we asked and got told to wait again by this time it was nearly 6pm the yorkshires were not coming and food was cold, shame as the food was actually very very nice and we would have again however we will not be coming back for these sunday dinners with this crappy service.

   Service was great, food not great Ordered BBQ chicken with rice & slaw, chicken semi-flavoured, rice cold and giving reheated slaw was nice but portion was teaspoon size. Cocktail dark moody & martini very nice

   Right in the centre of campus easy to find with good signage. Food is good with good-sized portions that do not break the bank. Has a good atmosphere and feel to it.

   The bar/restaurant is one of my favourite places for a meal at the university. I sometimes enjoy a meal alone as the prices are decent especially with the student discount. The food, while choice is limited, is really good and tastes great! Drinks are a little more pricey but still reasonable in my own opinion. Events are often held here, for example the anime and esports societies on alternating Fridays, this means it can get rather busy and loud however it is still a nice atmosphere with opportunities for students to meet like-minded people. The staff are always helpful and polite, the place is nearly always clean and tidy.

   Very nice experience. Food was tasty. Proper portion sizes. Not expensive. Suitable for all. Bar is available. Pool and Football tables are available to pass the time. Beautiful location. Vegan options available.
