ordered on the phone was told 40 mins went to collect and waited another half an hour in the shop for them to tell me that they didn't have my order at all said they could make it would be 40 mins when other people in the store was waiting over an hour for theirs!!!
I don’t do many reviews but had a takeaway so good on Saturday I had to write something to say thanks. Been going to Meraz for a good few years and they never disappoint. Lovely friendly people, food always spot on, great value and often a little bonus item in the bag! Keep it up, it’s a great place!
Ordered for 5 people on 22nd Feb 2025 and collected, food was nice and had no issues that evening. However the next day my wife and I unfortunately fell very ill with food poisoning, we suspect it was the pilau rice as it was the only dish we shared.
Had a large order, collected. (8 people) One item was missing g they delivered. When question the dish being smaller than the other mains we had. They said that’s the way it is, they laughed and hung up. No apologies. I ended up eating after everyone else had eaten and was very cold. I would not go here again. Very expensive for what I received, coupled with really bad service.
I have used this takeaway various times and is generally good, today it went straight in the Bin, chicken korma looked congealed and tasted burnt it was absolutely awful, the popadoms were not fresh and the onion bhaji was over cooked, the onions that accompanied them were soft and obviously not fresh. What a waste of money Very disappointed indeed

Such a shame this place has really gone down hill in every department since the young lad running it disappeared. Won't be using them again until they sort themselves out.
Had a delivery last night in Wilby for first time. Food was fantastic. Potatoe side dish best we've ever had. Definately ordering again.
This is our Thursday night regular, we have tasted many different places, but we always come back to the Meraz, food is away great, service is great, and it's a great price.
Special biryani was really great including sundries. Delivery a little slow at 45 mins. Definitely will order again.
