   Laz is wonderful. Really wonderful. I am so grateful to have such delicious, quality, affordable food in my community. The pasta is always so tasty and cooked to perfection. All the staff are kind and child friendly. It feels like for the price you are getting something really special. Also as its placed so close to the lovely paddling pool me and my partner often say coming home we feel like we've been on a mini holiday. Im really happy this cafe is part of my children's childhoods and that when they grow up they can remember sitting wrapped in their towels eating the best pesto pasta in the world. Laz makes la dolce vita accessible for all.

   Lovely neighbourhood cafe in the park - the man that runs it is so lovely and the food is really good and very affordable. A really special community hub and one of Brighton's secret gems. A must for families in the area.

   This is a great place to bring the kids for lunch. They have delicious ice creams. Also the portions are good sized. It’s not expensive at all and it’s quite tasty. The people are quite nice, accommodating and really friendly. It’s right in the park and next to the paddling pool so the kids can have loads of fun here, you can really spend the day, and have loads of fun recommended.

   Was very hungry and found this place.. had 2 bacon carbonara, pesto and a sausage roll... it was one of the best pasta I had.. texture and taste was just right. We love it. Missed out the carbonara picture..

   Me and my girlfriend just came here for lunch on a rainy day, our first time trying this place. What a pleasant surprise it was :) authentic, fresh homemade food and for such a good price!! I had the Mediterranean pasta which was full of delicious vegetables in a tomato sauce with a very generous sprinkling of Parmesan on top, my girlfriend had the spicy pasta which she loved too. Absolute amazing and will be coming back without a doubt.

   One of Brighton's hidden gems, Laz serves delicious home made authentic Italian food. I have been coming here for years and cannot rate it highly enough. The staff are so passionate about great food and the extensive menu offers great vegan and veggie options too.

   Really good comfort food and perfect for the park it's located at. Lasagna is my favourite and having a restaraunt dedicated to that is actually amazing. The portions are really filling and you feel like you're eating what mum used to make. However, via Deliveroo, it isn't really worth it. Prices come more at around £10 a portion rather than £6. Which is disappointing but understandable as Deliveroo fees are at a premium for retailers.

   A brilliant Italian gem on Lewes rd! Me and my partner are always looking for good lunch spots, but find most of Lewes rd disappointing. This place is BRILLIANT. I paid £4 for a “small” pasta which was a brilliant lunch sized portion. The pasta is fresh and tastes incredible - really authentic. Fairly big pasta menu with spicy, seafood, veggie, and classic options. The large pasta is only £6.50! They also have ice cream and cakes, as well as dog-friendly ice cream. We’ll definitely be coming back soon to try everything on the menu :)
