Excellent service. Excellent cod and chips - tasty and perfectly cooked. Immaculately clean place. Will be our go-to from now on! Highly recommended.
Love this place. Been coming here for 1 years now. Food is delicious and cooked/served fast if not too many customers. Our favourites is grilled salmon and battered sausage and chips. Staff always verh polite and very cheerful. The food is amazing. Open till late. Hygiene is very good. The bathroom is always super clean. The chef doing the grill is nice and grilling very well. Staff remembered us after the 1st visit and remembered what we had last time, even though it was some time between the visits. So we always go there now. And we love it!
We came to Andrew's to get dinner for several people. On arrival we were greeted by three sullen young ladies, with minimal customer service skills. We ordered our food at 4.50pm. Fifteen minutes later, still no food and no courtesy information provided as to why. To note, it was not busy at all. I asked why there was a wait and was told that the chips weren't ready. It would have been nice for that to have been shared with us, perhaps something like 'we're just waiting on some fresh chips'. Eventually, after more than 20 minutes we were informed our food was ready by being shouted at 'here it is' with no eye contact, smile or any sign of good customer service. On arrival home the bread roll appeared to be mouldy (see photo). Food was actually quite nice though, other than that. Customer service training would be useful for staff. Maybe a smile and better communication at least.
That was a real surprise! What a really good chippy! Decent sized portions, super fast service.. great chips! Would recommend if you are passing through! Worth stopping off for sure! Big menu lot’s of variety! Very good service! Impressed.. well done Andrews!
My first time coming here, on a shopping trip and my friend and I decided to try something new, I had the all day breakfast, the staff was lovely and the food came out quickly, it was great except for the bacon being a bit hard, I asked for fried onions and the portion was huge! Would definitely come back just for the fried onions if nothing else (and the staff of course)
Ordered two Doner Kebabs, whatever it was, it didn’t feel or taste like lamb. Straight in the bin. Will never buy from here again. Though staff were polite and friendly.
Omg the owners went above and beyond for me today! My freind who is very unwell had pie n mash from you which she loved! Not just that, what you did was the loveliest gesture ever!...you Smashed it! So so greatful. Thankyou guys we will see you soon x

NIGHTMARE ! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! AVOID !!!!! Ordered food through their website, had to wait 1.5 hour for my food which is the photos attached. First been told food will be delivered when nothing happened after 1 hour, I rang them and found out I need to pick up my order. Ordered mixed grill meat, which turns out to be 2 slices of bacon? burned livers and sausage ? SERIOUSLY?!?! THAT COST ME ALMOST £23 for one dish. It is sooooooo disgusting and overpriced. Even best Turkish cuisines don't charge that much and wouldn't even serve this. Better go to Spoons and you will get better quality @ max £10 Worst thing was I was not able to read what this 'dish' contains- that is the reason probably as they are ashamed what they serve. My colleague ordered 'chicken salad'. Turns out it was literally CHICKEN ON TOP OF SALAD. HALF PIECE OF CHICKEN THROWN ON THE SALAD WHICH PROBABLY WAS FROM ALDI OR LIDL. I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF SALAD OWNERS EAT AT HOME BUT SERIOUSLY?! Other colleague ordered jacked potato which was so sour and oily i think it wasnt fresh at all. The only OKish thing about my whole experience was chips. If I would knew I would never waited 1.5 hour and drive all the way there to get chips. SUCH AN AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I AM AFRAID I WILL GET FOOD POISONING. AVOID !!!!
Reasonably priced and abdolultely spotless. What a change to find such a clean tidy friend cafe. Food was perfect had fish chips peas and cup tea. Who could want anything else. Loved it
