   Came here for some late evening drinks. Overall we had a lovely time! The staff were friendly, comfortable seating, cozy christmas decorations and a lovely fireplace. The drinks were of normal pricing and the mulled wine bottle as delicious! Not to mention indoors they have an ipad where you can insert your car plate for free parking which was a nice touch.

   On an autumnal day (or in fact any day), Britannia is a lovely pub. It's warm and cosy. The food is delicious. My favourite Sunday roast is the 7 hour slow roast rib of beef. It reminds me of Greek kleftiko slow cooked meat. The service is always good, Clayton and his team always makes you feel welcome.

   Nice spot, good service from staff. Reasonable prices. Shame half the menu is unavailable at midday on Wednesdays, due to the fact their key ingredient delivery bizarrely arrives during lunch service on that day

   I honestly don't know what people are moaning about. We pulled up on the boat. Free of charge And were greeted with great hospitality. We had the best cider and food was delicious the fish and chips was the best ever fish was nice and thick. Chips were awesome cooked perfectly home made tarter sauce hot. Butter to melt over extra crusty bread. My cheese and chicken leak pie was hand made cooked in an oven skillet pan , beautiful and ate outside before falling asleep on the boat woke up had cappachino and cooked breakfast. Claiton was lovely my cappachino was taken to a sunny table in the garden. Best experience ever.

   Really nice place with terrace next to river. Plenty of seating inside and plenty outside, but on weekends have to book in advance. Free parking, but have to register otherwise will get penalty. Food was nice, we really enjoyed. Recommend

   Had a great lunch at Britannia which is a little gem on the edge of Northampton. Service was great, the food came out hot, in good time & you could tell it was freshly prepared. Portion sizes mean you won't leave on an empty stomach but there is still space for something after and we managed to grab a table by one of the fires. Will definitely be visiting again and getting a Sunday lunch booked in!

   Dashed in here for a quick bite to eat, whilst my Son played Rugby. I had the mixed grill my wife had the Haloumi. Quick service, good food pleasant environment. Lovely fire adds to the perfect ambiance. Well done

   A fantastic treasure just outside northampton, looks lovely as a venue and a great dining experience. Staff are really friendly and professional, it's a wide menu and what we had tasted great. They have a good drinks section and should have something for everyone. Can recommend and can't wait to return.
