V poor service, ordered on line, 1.5hrs later no sign so rang them to be told the driver was "on his way" (a 10 minute trip) 30 mins later still no sign.. so its now 2 hrs and still not arrived.
Great meal! Having used this Chinese for past 25 years I would agree that the last 6 months seem to have not been as good as they have been historically. However, just had a takeaway and was clearly cooked freshly, good quality and very tasty!! Delivery is always prompt! Much improved and will continue to be my Chinese takeaway of choice!
Not happy as it has been our favourite for over 20yr but last few meals have definitely not been good. Chicken in the curry strangest soft texture we have ever experienced, chicken balls that use to be yummy felt and tasted like had been reheated,my fav chicken chowmein was extremely salty
The food was great. My wife liked it. I'm no fan of Chinese food but I was really impressed. The portions are a lot. Value for money. Great location and easy access due to the parking in front. Definitely would buy again and recommend anyone to try out this place.
This is one of my favourite restaurants! We have been going here for years!! The ambience of the restaurant is beautiful. The staff are very kind and respectful. And the food is delicious!! I recommend the salt and chilli chicken wings, king prawn with ginger and spring onion and the vegetable chow mein! The chilli oil is a must! :) Whether it’s take away or dining in, the quality of food is always good.

Well if Henry saw what we have just had delivered he would have gone nuts.... firstly all food was virtually cold, it arrived 70 mins after ordering online. The chicken was pre cooked before battering as the balls were brown on outside and completely uncooked doughy goo on the inside, the roast crackling pork was soft, cold, extremely greasy and incl three 2cm square lumps of just fat.... ugh! The chow mein lacked any taste whatsoever. Most of the food delivered went in the bin, absolutely no point in complaining as didn't want the food replacing with more cold inedible offerings after another hour plus long wait. So disappointed will not use again.
Mixed dishes for four people on a friday evening. As usual pleasant & quick service and a well cooked tasty meal. Usual high standard.
I ordered a takeaway from here the first time I'd ordered for 2yrs..from any takeaway an the first time from here, it will be the very last time ...since the whole meal went in the bin.i take no pleasure in this and if this review is taken down I will review it elsewhere. First off I did say when I ordered I lived in second floor apartment..she told me that was no problem...meal came rang intercom but would not deliver he flatly refused so I paid delivery an couldn't get meal unless I went into street. Then food was stone cold dire,an went straight into bin! Ifu want good food ,don't order from here ....ever!!
The food is always outstanding. The salt and chili king prawns in light batter are our personal favourite. It always arrives on time and hot. Delivered with a smile as well. We love this place. Whoever gave 1 star because they wouldn't take a card needs to get a hobby or something. Rate the food and knock them down a star for the inconvenience at worse. We probably get food from this place too regularly but we are never disappointed. Best Chinese takeaway in town.
