We came to Mumtaz at Merlin’s for a friend’s birthday,.. the restaurant has a cosy authentic feel, the food was great and the staff were absolutely fantastic and very attentive ! I can’t wait to celebrate my birthday here soon .. highly recommended.
Best curry house in Northampton, new location is fab. Their staff are always friendly, polite and welcoming. Gorgeous flavours and reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone.
Even before the move, Mumtaz were (and still are) one of the best curry houses I've had the pleasure of eating at, and visiting. The attention to detail when it comes to their dishes is next to none, and they genuinely have the tastiest and fresh meals you could ever hope to eat! I've ordered online from them many times, and even the online orders never disappoint. I've also visited in person with a large group and they always strive to make your visit there an unforgettable experience. Easily a 5* review!
- Gave us dips then half way through took them from us saying "they aren't fresh" - Over an hour to get our food - The fizzy drinks were flat - Warm tap water given - 25 mins to get the bill after asking three times - Toilet had no soap and nothing to dry your hands The food was alright but everything else was very poor. Didn't feel very welcomed, the interior is very run down.
Food is always excellent, hot and you just can’t stop eating it
First time going food was banging, didn't know what to have asked waitor to recommend something and it was delicious will defo go or order from there again.
Had xmas dinner, it was great, food was good, staff great, all round a lovely meal and atmosphere, well done
Ive eaten at the most best restaurants that UK has to offer over 45years but when I try Mumtaz lounge I couldn't believe the tast and flavour this restaurant had to offer I had a such an enjoyable evening with my son I've been back there twice so far and I will carry on doing so I highly recommend this restaurant
Excellent food .massive sunday buffet range .staff were very helpful . £10 per head for Sunday buffet .
