We had a lovely experience going for the breakfast with Santa! Everything was lovely, very family friendly and my 6 year old daughter loved it asking to go again next year! Great food, great atmosphere I’d highly recommend!
Our first time lunching here the visit went like this: First impression young lady sweeping outside well done! Visit to ladies on entering dirty tissues and rubbish in the cubicle may suggest cleaner has a look next time behind the door! Staff behind the bar friendly helpful engaging a promising start. We ordered chicken strips which were absolutely tasteless and I mean they didn’t taste of anything (Who puts this stuff on the menu surely it’s tried or is it a cheaper option). Also had nachos which on starting we quickly realised they were ‘flaming hot’ nothing as described on the menu . My friend managed hers they were far too spicy I couldn’t eat them which is what I told the waiter when he took the plates. We then told the waitress when paying there was an issue then I presume the manager over heard and said she was aware of a problem and was asking the kitchen to check the ingredients as it was a different brand. I said that’s not a different brand it’s a totally different product certainly not even close taste wise, I just wonder about their allergy information?? I feel I gave the staff and manager every opportunity to put this right by either taking the dish off the bill or offering a small dessert 10% off the bill anything but no just a bit of a lame excuse. Places wonder why they are struggling, it’s a shame as we go out regularly but won’t be returning here.
We ordered food for two, after 30 min food for one person was served, waited for 40 min for the food to arrive but never arrived, no one came over to even explain about the wait or what was going on. After another 20 min we had to go ask what was the issue, only to be told the ticket was missed out a d the food will be prepared straight away. After waiting for another 20 min, still no food or anyone coming to tell us what was the issue. We had to go back to the counter to ask. At this point we had spent 2 hours waiting, and we had to leave. Poor customer service, communication very pooor, they need more training on people skills, ill definitely not going back or recommending anybody in future.
Updated from previous review: Service is still really good and it has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were really helpful and polite (thank you Callum!). The food came within about 20 minutes which tasted hot and fresh and the children enjoyed the outdoor play area. We'll definitely come back again for some of the mid-week deals they have on. Good food and friendly service. We had a long wait of about 45 mins for food but the staff informed us of that, and we did have a table of 10. The food was served hot and delicious and good portion sizes! There was a nice relaxed atmosphere and we didn't feel rushed to leave. Good place for families and friends.
Nice place, good location, live sports good food and staff. Kids playground and tables outside loads of parking space few disable parking spaces in front of the entrance. Good for the night out, breakfast and lunch. Reasonable prices and welcoming atmosphere.
Food was good here, staff were friendly. Food took a little while to come out but all in all it was good pub grub. The coffee was quite weak, ordered a latte and expected a decent coffee for the price paid. However this seemed to be boiling milk mixed with instant coffee, very little flavour and wasn’t too enjoyable. An issue with the food was quickly resolved. Would be 5 stars had it not been for the time waiting for food and poor coffee.
Lovely place, very stylish and clean. Staff were fabulous (Paul, Adam & Josh) We had a lovely meal and they couldn’t do enough to accommodate us as we had an elderly disabled family member with us. Would highly recommend it to anyone with or without children
Food was awful Meals didn't come out together Asked for steak medium well come out rare they took steak back and recooked same steak but it was very well done third time they sent it out as a 4oz steak when we was where the remaining steak was they sent another piece out on a plate with original chips etc which were cold. They said they said the 4oz out first because they didn't want us to wait too long for food. Meal was a shambles. Manager was rude said he cooked three steaks and couldn't be bothered to cook another. Only cooked 2 as one was recooked, after being here for an hour and 45 minutes the manager refunded the meal and we left. Never to visit again!
We had wonderful time spent here. Our little girl played a lot at the playground and we have had some chill drinks in the garden. We definitely recommend to family with children and persons that looks after a lovely courtyard and very good service.
