Very expensive. But what food isn't at Alton Towers? The tables are too close together, you can't move if someone sits at the table behind you. Service is really quick. I don't know if this is necessarily a good thing...has the food been sat waiting under a warmer? However the food is really nice and the portion sizes are decent, we have eaten here a few times now and will probably go back.

We very surprisingly able to get a table despite it being busy and the staff was welcoming. I do think the food is a bit too expensive but if you really want to find somewhere warm where you can sit inside then it's not that bad. I ordered the chicken burger which came with fries and the nachos. It was a good burger, not the best I had but again perfectly good. The Nachos however were cold and pretty meh to be honest.

The staff weren’t at the waiting point, so we thought we could walk in and find a table ourselves. There were plenty of free tables, but one staff member suddenly yelled at me, telling us to wait. So we went back to the waiting point and stood there, watching the same staff member slowly clean tables, set utensils, and arrange napkins. We expected her to call us once a table was ready, but she didn’t — she just kept tidying up while we waited for about 20 minutes. Finally, another staff member came and showed us to a table. The place was cold inside. I ordered a flat white, but it tasted awful — nothing like a proper flat white. I asked them to change it. Very disappointing experience — expensive, poor service, and rude staff. Would not recommend!

We grab an outside table, queue up for what I thought would just be drinks. Only drinks. Revolutionary concept, I know. Staff member tells me it’s a 30-minute wait. Fine. I explain I’ve got a table and just need a tablet to order drinks. Her reply? “I’ve got more tables than tablets.” Translation: you might be punished for daring to sit at a table if it isn’t considered worthy enough for one of their mystical iPads. And apparently the rules are flexible: staff call out for larger table numbers to cut the queue because they’ll probably spend more money. Smaller tables? Tough luck, peasant. Abysmal doesn’t even cover it. After 20 minutes of holding the line for a tablet that never appeared, salvation came in the form of a neighbouring couple offering to order our drinks for us. Imagine that—other customers had to save us from the venue’s own system. So here’s my plea to the Wicker Man gods: bring back the simple scan-and-order option, or at least allow customers to walk up to the bar for a pint without a Hunger Games tribute process involving missing tablets, broken logic, and a side order of disdain. All this chaos… for two beers and a hot chocolate. Could’ve been more, if the rules weren’t made up on the fly.

Had previously looked the the menu for here but there were zero vegetarian options. Decided to look today and there were a few so thought I’d give it a go. I had the Garden Follies Falafel Burger. It was quite tasty, but had a weird herby icing on the top of the bun that was super sweet. On closer look at the menu there is a lot of savoury donut style theming. It was ok to eat but I wouldn’t rush to try it again. Kids meals seemed like good portion sizes, and there were plenty of other interesting dishes like the pizza chips we had. Overall nice enough and not too expensive for a theme park. Very grateful for the non-meat options. I was quite surprised however there are no toilet facilities in the restaurant- you have to exit and use the regular toilets nearby!?

Was kept waiting outside in the freezing cold for 30 minutes for a table, no staff to help at front or ask how long it would actually be. After being seated it was another 4t minute wait for food because our table was forgotten about even though we were seated right next to the kitchen. Food was good when we got it, service was terrible ans the staff looked miserable and if after paying the price of admission and the food prices just smile a little and pretend you want to at your work.

Very reasonably priced for Alton Towers. Most for outlets there are a rip off, but Woodcutters was on part with most pub food prices and the food was good, not great, bit could have been worse. Not much atmosphere though.

OK, so it's not fine dining but took 45 minutes and we had to chase. Chips and steak were cold and not the best cut, wife had gammon which she said was the best she's ever had. So it's a typical theme park restaurant, all done by app now so don't expect table service.

When asked how many of us there were, we said 6 since we were a group of mates. She gave us a weird look and went off to gossip with her coworkers which I found a bit rude. Someone else came to bring us to our table and it was okay from there. I understand it was very busy at the time so food took a little while. Drinks came quickly enough. Some staff just seemed unprofessional - but with the stress of lunch rush, I suppose it's understandable.
