We used to love coming here but the last few times the staff have been horrendously rude to the customers. Snapping at people asking questions, getting angry for no reason whatsoever. Horrific. Forget the customer is always right with this place! Will be finding somewhere new and not returning!! The chip portions are always small as well.
Spam fritters with hardly any batter, phoned to complain to be told “nothing I can do, I will tell the manager” (after implying I was a liar,) and a portion of chips that an infant could eat. Not impressed at all.
Fish & chip shop surprisingly only accepting cash (wonder why this is). Ordered large cod and small chips (£10.50). This is a meal for 2 pensioners. Fish was not particularly large but small chips seemed quite large. Chip shops seem to have lost the art of making a good, thick, crunchy batter. This chip shop is no exception. !
Really good large cod with nice batter, really generous small chips and also had usual chippy green mushy peas. Very impressed with fish. Good service (be aware cash only) and convenient parking available.

Absolutely the best Fish chips mushy peas my wife and I have had in years. I travelled 8 miles on my freinds recommendation. I got there just after opening time. Quite a queue always a good sign. Although big queue 4 staff on duty very freindly and polite, 2 cooking 2 serving wrapping taking payment. Ordered 2 large cod 1 large chips 2 mushy peas. The cod was beautifully cooked the Batter was light crispy and tasty. The chips were made from good quality potatoes, light tasty not greasy. Mushy peas again a good quality. Overall a fantastic a meal. 10 out 10 highly recommend this Fish and chip shop. Cash only.
Chips were nice but the battered sausage was a total embarrassment on your behalf.. never been to a chip shop and been served a small battered sausage like that... plus the sausage was dripping in oil and had no taste. Not sure I'll pick this place again
Fresh fish burgers are the best, always have to get minimum of two. I became a regular after trying these. Their small chips size is actually more like a large. Parking facilities directly outside. Friendly environment and polite staff.
