Hidden gem. Amazing lunch. Lovely little Nepalese restaurant, they have a full range of English dishes on the menu for the less adventurous. Really friendly with excellent service and food. Some nice local beers on tap with the full bar. Really enjoyed the visit.

Wonderful very warm welcome from all the staff the moment we stepped inside! The restaurant/seating area was not busy. We were seated straight away by a very kind polite smiling Gent, There is a huge selection of International foods. Nepalese, Indian and English (there could be more but I didn’t pay attention, as I wanted the Nepalese). I ordered the Nepalese Chicken Noodles and a side of Mo Mo dumplings. I have traveled the world and been to many places and eating these two dishes was EXACTLY how the food was when I was in Kathmandu! The taste, the look, the presentation! My partner had Nepalese Lamb Curry which was also incredible! The portion sizes are great as well couldn’t fit a dessert in! The prices of the food and the high standards of the food complement each other perfectly as the food was wonderful! The staff are incredible I genuinely mean that, I have worked in Aviation and the private jet industry and understand service and the gentleman who looked after us were all fantastic! Chatty and friendly and while watching other guests both diners and after work folk for a drink, they all served everyone with the same fantastic service! There is a pool table in a huge lovely room. With a slate floor. (I personally think the rest/dining area would work better in there) and the pool table in the main bar area. The pool table room was very clean and tidy. There is also a snug area room, which we did not see but is open for guest also. The garden area, even tho autumn is creeping in the garden still looked lovely with small covered seating areas, a large grass garden with lots of seating available with lovely plants and shrubs. Oh, inside the area we were sat, there was good quality candles on every table and window sills, I bet it looks and smells lovely when they are all lit! Roughly around 20 car parking spaces out the back and is wheelchair accessible. The pub/restaurant offers take away food also, at the time of typing this (October 2025) they currently offer 10% discount on take away food. I do not know if they deliver or are on over eats etc. If international food is your thing, or even just wonderful customer service, I highly recommend visiting here and enjoy the beautiful food and service! Thank you to the incredible staff for making us feel so welcome and to the Chef for super wonderful food! Hope to visit again soon! I have attached a ‘take home’ paper menu pictures for you to see the wide range of food options! We visited October 2025 Friday at roughly 15.00

Popped in here for dinner when I was visiting the area for a family event. I must say the food was absolutely amazing! The staff were really friendly and attentive. The food really was great, hot and full of flavour and the biscoff cheesecake was to die for! It was like 3pm on a Tuesday afternoon, so it was very quiet and not a lot of atmosphere, which is the only reason for the 4 stars on that, but I did feel quite welcome. Would definitely reccomend this place for the food, it was really lovely.

Food was fabulous. We had a three course meal. Served promptly every course following smoothly. My only issue was where we were seated was terribly busy and very cold with people coming and going all evening long. A better table position and I’d have been in my element.

We had a meal with 8 adults and two kids on boxing day. It was also our 10 year old grandsons 11 th birthday the following day. The food was fantastic. The choice is immense with Indian, Greek, English and a couple of pasta dishes. The ability to mix and match is also great. Absolutely brilliant especially when you have a large party all wanting different things The place was buzzing and we were well looked after even to the point of lighting the candles and bringing the birthday cake to the table whilst we sang happy birthday. Thanks to those who joined in. It made it very special for Ryan. I would thoroughly recommend Peggottys for couples, family's and larger party's. A brilliant evening out.

Ordered a takeaway from here - carbonara and a kebab. Carbonara was quite clearly made in the microwave… and could’ve broken my teeth on the garlic bread. And for the kebab, well, I paid £15 for pieces of cardboard stuffed between soggy pitta. All costs £40 and 100% of the food went in the bin, didn’t fancy being seriously ill tomorrow! I did call to complain and give them the chance to rectify the situation but the customer service was appalling because apparently she sells loads of this food every week so I must be lieing!! Avoid at all costs.

Excellent food from starters to desserts covering both English and Indian dishes catering well for vegetarians and omnivores. Generous portions with "doggy bags" available should you be unable to finish your meal in one sitting. Friendly courteous staff and reasonable prices. I like it so much that I'm a regular guest there.

Met here as this was a mid ground place for my mum and I and we absolutely loved the food, mains very very tasty, especially the Indian food and deserts just as good! The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed, and the manager was very welcoming. Overall really good service and highly recommend.
