What a surprise. My Friend and I came across this lovely Pub today. The Landlady was so friendly and made us feel welcomed and at ease. We had a lunch time meal which was well prepared and the chips were to die for. There are not many pubs who have a jar of mustard on the dinner table now days and jars of proper pickled onions and pickled eggs on the Bar. Great, great pub and we will be back especially on one of their events.

Lovey little dog friendly village pub. Had a choice of 3 real ales available in our visit, which was good. Landlord was a lovely guy, very friendly and willing to chat. As soon as we walked in and were served, he checked on the fire and added more logs to ensure our comfort. It was nice to see a skittle table. Does bar food the bac half of the week. Bingo Fridays, and live music occasionally.

Dog Friendly. The food is Excellent value for money. Tasty & quick. Accommodating staff. Friendly locals. Nice village with stunning views of the nene valley. This small, well-kept, house began life as The Crown and Squirrel, assuming its present name in 1906. It retains a country pub atmosphere with a lively bar, a cosy lounge and a conservatory for dining. For many years, "The Eykyn" has been known as a "games pub" and a number of teams participate in local leagues for skittles, pool and darts, in addition to which some of the locals are avid cribbage and domino players. Give it a try. The decor is traditional. We definitely will be returning. Definitely a rovers return. #Buddyfriendlypubs #Roobysvillagetour #Walkswithbuddy

Great little pub, the hub of the village. We only moved here in January but already been made to feel so welcome. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Nice beers and the food is really good, the beef and chicken burger is awesome, better than Buddies!
