   Finally found time to check this gem out. Absolutely loved the look and location and the proprietor is delightful. We were quite late on a Friday afternoon but were glad it was quiet. Choice was very slightly limited but we chose the best looking cakes left and were not at all disappointed - delicious

   I live in Belfast but my parents have lived in East Hunsbury for 26 years. And this is the first time I've discovered this caff. I was recently chatting with some friends about proper old school greasy spoon-type places, and the fact that they're being wiped out by chains, and places that have so many different types of coffee it takes a week to order and a mortgage to pay. I'm happy to report that The Drovers Return is proper, old school caff. Not absurdly clean, not uber trendy. Just simple, tasty food, good tea, reasonable prices and friendly clientele and staff. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. And I only had a sausage and bacon roll and a tea. Long may this place last!

   Great little dog friendly cafe in a beautiful country park setting ….and to cap it off food is great value and so tasty. Really good quality bread and tasty sausages. 2 good quality sarnies and 2 teas for under a tenner - Highly recommend!

   Had a bacon roll in there this morning with my neighbour. First time visit for me to this country park cafe. Quite an extensive menu too. There's seating indoors and out and the interior is pleasant enough. Friendly staff brought our rolls and tea over to our tables and ensured we had everything we needed. Ideal location for the visitors to the park just off the main road. Worth a look for a cuppa or something more substantial. Recommended.

   Pleasent country park location. Premises is very small and a bit dated, rustic perhaps, but clean. Kind of charming really which I like. Not very busy mid morning during my visit. I sat in the conservatory area. View from cafe is a large car park but within a wooded area. Car park already well used by walkers. Staff polite but perhaps a bit wary of me a stranger not from these parts! I had 'Big Breakfast' £5.50. Well cooked with egg not overdone. However not the biggest l've ever had and no mushrooms. Hot drink good value for money for £1. There is a small combined information and childrens play area. So would be good for young children to amuse themselves while parents can have a relaxing break. Overall I would come again especially if mushrooms come back in season :-)
