   Me and my partner visited on Thursday evening for a couple of drinks and had a lovely time. Service at bar very friendly and polite. We then decided to have some food and on ordering was advised there could be a 30mins wait which we were fine with. The food came within the 30mins and was fantastic! I had beef lasagna and partner had signature burger, both very warm and very tasty. Great value for money and will definitely eat there again!

   Fantastic place. I walked i today and first thing I noticed was how immaculate the cleaning was, it was so clean! The bar tender served me polite and smiling. It was very quiet but it is Monday afternoon. They have great funky furniture and artwork on the walls about the history of the northampton town. The lager is a good price as the whiskey. The toilets are clean and tidy. I looked over the food menu and the prices seem really good for a pub. Didn’t eat so can’t comment but the menu is good with food for all. Pool table, gambling/fruit machines/dart board and TVs in the seating area. I guess for sport? Nice place ❤️❤️❤️

   We had family event there. The service was brilliant and the food was a good quality, served in same time for nearly 20 people! Well done chef and well done all the front house staff! You do really good job over there! What I liked and was surprised with - there was a "first aid toiletries box" in ladies bathroom! Good stuff.

   I visit the Squirrels every month for their Disco Bingo nights! Not to be missed. Always have dinner whilst there and the food is always delicious and fresh. All bar staff have been friendly and welcoming upon each visit. Such a lovely pub at the heart of the village.

   Visited yesterday lunchtime and must say the renovations are great, service is quick and prices are good. We were a party of four and two of my party ordered the £12.49 size fish and chips. The batter on the fish looked appetizing when served, but the fish was awful and actually very wet, sloppy and looked grey in colour, although it was supposed to be Cod. When we were discussing whether we should eat or return it, the waiter who was clearing the table next to us rudely interrupted us and said the chef never served undercooked food so there's no problem with it. So thanks to the waiter we ate the fish and guess who had the bad stomachs a few hours later??
