The chicken balls were dry and days old and we had chicken fried rice special fried rice and chicken chow mein and it all tasted old and like it had been in microwave so never ordering here again
Used to be a regular customer, was good food at fair prices. Since raised their prices and food is hit and miss on quality, being watered down and lacking at taste. Wanted to try them again, as they were shown as being open, like they usually are on Tuesdays. Only to find them closed with no explanation after 25 minute drive through the city. Hopefully they get better but not worth the money or time.
This is my first time ordering from here, I can’t believe it’s only 5mins walk away and I hadn’t discovered it sooner! Food was ready in 15mins and was delicious! Thanks
Ordered for the first time today, the rice was a little tasteless but everything else was yum! Although they forgot the prawn crackers which we were meant to get free as our order was £25+ ): Edit: I ordered again a few weeks ago and was a bit disappointed. I ordered a chicken buo and got sent what I think was pork instead? The food was still okay but quite dry sadly. Their delivery driver is very friendly though!
Save your money as it will probably go in the bin. If this is your only option on a Monday do your self a favour and wait til Tuesday to have some good food.
Food was not even fit for a dog. Me and my husband only had a few folk full before we put it in the bin. My stomach hurts so much wright now and my husband had been sick a few time since eating it. The chicken was old and tasted rotten. The rice was hard and there was slime glop on the noodles. The only good this was just eat delivery, with in the time slot. That's £24 down the drain and I no I won't be getting that back. We don't have takeaway that much, it costs so much but when we do, we expect it be able to eat the food we want. Save you money or go somewhere else. Not here. (Orded on Friday night 9/12/22).
First time iv ordered from there and will definitely be the last. Food was extremely dry, tasteless only nice thing was the prawn crackers. Sweet and sour sauce an was awful taste! Dry chow mein, dry rice, horrible chicken balls which were overly dry and filled with some dough which smell gone off. Iv shown on photos the state of chicken balls which tasted like playdoh!
I do not recommend. Food tasted terrible, we just dumped it to the bin. Waste of money. Do not buy from China Express, their food is horrible no flavour and taste not fresh like it was just reheated in microwave.
