Sophie is a credit to the business. Alongside being the most patient employee of all time and helping my partner and I find a suit, she was so informative, helpful and kind. We came in with no idea what we were looking for and she talked us through many options and had the patient of a saint. Would highly recommend coming here to receive the standard of service provided by Sophie she’s absolutely amazing. Thanks again

I’m a regular customer of BOSS and often shop at the Brighton store. Usually, the staff here are not very welcoming, which has been disappointing. However, my recent visit was completely different thanks to Faycal. He gave me excellent customer service — patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He explained every detail about the coats, including how warm each one is, and really took the time to make sure I found what I was looking for. Faycal is new to this store, and he honestly made the whole experience feel totally different. Big thanks to him! ( the 5 star goes for Faycal )

I visited this store on 8/8/25 around midday. Thank you so much to the gentleman that helped myself and my partner, find a present for his dad’s birthday. His help was greatly appreciated, he had such great product and size knowledge and was very helpful.

Walked in on Sunday, was followed around the store. Felt massively uncomfortable. Have purchased boss products for years online, and thought it would nice to go round the shop and actually see the product before purchasing. Felt like saying something to the guy following me but my wife told me to leave it alone.

My husband recently visited the Brighton Hugo Boss store to return some clothing he had purchased as a gift. The items were unworn (one briefly tried on), still in their original packaging with labels attached, and brought back within 7 days. Shockingly, the store manager refused the return, accusing him of returning clothes that “smelt musty” and “looked washed” — which was simply untrue. He was publicly embarrassed by being asked to compare items by smell in front of other customers, and was ultimately threatened with security and told he was trespassing — despite remaining calm and polite throughout. He later went to a Hugo Boss store in London, where staff refunded the same items immediately, no questions asked. The contrast in service was staggering. The Brighton store’s treatment was hostile, humiliating, and completely at odds with what one would expect from a premium brand. Very disappointing experience.

My partner called up to reserve a couple of suits and we rushed over after work to try them on. Before leaving I used their convenient WhatsApp service to check it would be OK to bring my dog along with us. Not only were the staff helpful, but they stayed open late to assist and were very welcoming to our dog. Went above and beyond - highly recommend!

Absolutely abysmal service. Lady on the door was rude and condescending I decided on a nice cap took it to the till and she told me if I buy a pair of socks I get 10% off the hat . I was a bit dubious to what benefit this offered me as a pair of socks is £13 minimum . She said if I buy the socks and hat togehter I basically get the socks for £1 . I don’t what maths she’s being doing but £45 hat + £13 = 58 , -10% = £52 so I’m actually paying £7/8 for the socks , she got all annoyed when I said no. She didn’t speak to me at the till and was so rude I just told her to forget the hat. A brand like this needs better standards

Highly recommended this original, Hugo boss shop in 52 East Street Brighton, its easy to get to don't be put off by the stairs, if you've got a disability,Giuseppe and the staff are more than happy to go up, and bring down anything your looking for, also they have a massive selection of all types of clothing and shoes & accessories downstairs. I would like to say thank you to Giuseppe and the team for making me feel special and all your help. For my experience this shop deserves more than 5 stars I give them 100%

Lovely Thai girl who wasn't pushy but took time to understand my taste and style . My wife and I appreciated her empathy, knowing we would spend what money on we could afford without the hard sell. Unfortunately my wife did not have a great experience with the male colleague in BOSS as he was pushy and hard selling. If I had known, I would have not spent a penny in that shop.
