   Brilliant takeaway, delivered promptly. Salt and pepper ribs were deliciously dry and satisfying, king po prawns perfectly spiced, not too sweet, fresh crunchy vegetables and scrumptious squeaky prawns. Partner enjoyed his meaty special curry too.

   I was excited as they had Tofu (bean curd) - we're vegetarian so wanted no meat. Was surprised therefore to receive free prawn crackers and suspicious "could be anything" spring rolls. Freebies are a nice touch for some, but for sake of allergies and dietary choices - please ASK first. The food wasn't bad. The delivery was prompt. But I still feel we cook better Asian food at home.

   I don’t usually bother to write food reviews but I feel I should as I don’t want people to waste their money. We had capital ribs, crispy shredded beef, s&p chicken balls, house fried rice and s&p chips. I know that folk rave about this place but I really didn’t get the hype. My first biggest criticism is the portion size. We all know that Chinese takeaways rip us off, but we put up with it because we get served a feast…not here, they don’t serve the house fried rice in a deep tub and they don’t fill it either, it was sooooooo garlicky too. The ribs were rib scraps, so you spend most of the time fishing for bone and cartlidge in your mouth. The s&p food is overbearingly salty, yes I know it should be salty but not that salty. However, the chicken balls were really good, the batter was really light and the chicken tender. Everyone’s taste is different, we won’t be returning to this chinese though, who seem to be taking advantage of the fact that they’re the only takeaway for miles! The chinese in badderley green is still winning in our game of Chinese roulette!

   Have ordered from here several times and always enjoyed the meals, better than any we have ever had. But tonight we wonder what has happened? The sauce on the meals was like water, no substance to it at all and the meals didn't tast as fresh as they normally do????
