   I celebrated my birthday at Hickory’s and couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful experience. Despite booking last minute, the team welcomed me without any fuss. The food was decent, but what truly stood out was the excellent service—attentive, kind, and genuinely celebratory. To my surprise, they brought out a simple cake with a lit candle, just to mark the occasion. It was such a lovely gesture that made the day feel extra special. Thank you, Hickory’s, for turning a spontaneous plan into a beautifully celebrated moment.

   I had the 16-hour smoked ribs here, and what a delight! The meat was beautifully tender, with that deep smoky flavour that comes from real slow cooking. The char and bark held their own without overpowering the natural porkiness.

   3rd time we have been here and each time has been great. Staff are friendly, never had a problem with the food. Quick service even on a busy evening. Great deal on a Thursday where a meal that is normally £40 is half price so amazing value for money. Would definitely recommend the candy floss gin

   As someone who grew up eating southern food/BBQ my entire life I was interested in trying this place. First off, the drinks (lemonades) were very good, though they were carbonated. The food came out and was good as well. The meat ( I got brisket) was very tender and didn't have a lot of fat (which is a great thing). I enjoyed it. The bourbon sauce was a bit strong, was hoping for a bit more sweetness. Mac and cheese is probably my favorite food ever and as a southerner I eat it/make it quite a lot so I had to get a side of it. I was a bit disappointed by it, there wasn't much flavor, but it wasn't bad. I just wouldn't order it again. The sausage was good and the fries were pretty good as well. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were also nice. I did get a side of ranch (sauce) and was pleasantly surprised by it, it was pretty good. I'll definitely come here again to try some more of their food.

   Great restaurant on the outskirts of Crewe, we attended for a birthday celebration, very welcoming staff and a nice Texan themed smokehouse atmosphere. Food was all very good quality great flavour and well presented. As a surprise at the end of the meal the birthday celebrant was presented with a birthday donut topped with frozen custard and a indoor firework fountain, can not fault all the staff there.

   First time visiting a Hickory's and I'm so glad I chose Gresty Green to celebrate my birthday the other week. Staff were incredible and so welcoming, I had a birthday plaque ready to greet me on our reserved table and endless supply of popcorn throughout my meal. Meal itself was quality as well. Looking forward on coming back soon.

   Great service, super quick and really friendly staff. The food came quickly and hot and was delicious everyone I was with enjoy every piece of it. The milkshakes were great the atmosphere was great a really good place to go for a relaxed but tasty meal. No stressing and super friendly staff will definitely be going again!

   Authentic. Delicious. Humongous. Fantastically large and tasty portions of some of the tastiest American BBQ I’ve tasted since moving to the UK from the States. Combine that with stellar service, and you’ve found a dining experience you would typically find whilst abroad. Looking for a sweet but not so sugary treat? Try the Lemon Cheesecake milkshake! Want a sugar rush you can enjoy throughout your meal? Have a Grape Soda or a Peach Iced Tea! Want fall off the bone BBQ with a little bit of a kick that’s full of flavour? Try the dry rub on the Kansas style pork ribs! For a snack that brings you back - Highly recommend the CornDog Trio. Tasty hot dog (sausage) - surrounded by a deep fried cornmeal batter. But the best part are the fried shallots and crunchy bacon bits that polish it off. Everything about our meal was spot on. Highly recommend.
