I can only assume this has changed hands recently. This chippy has been my go to for football away days at Crewe for a number of years. The fish and chips I had last Saturday were very poor. The fish had clearly been there for quite some time before I arrived. The table we sat at was filthy from whoever had spilt some sauce before we arrived. I will look for somewhere else for future visits to Crewe

I visited this takeaway as an away fan before heading to the Crewe Alexandra stadium. Friendly staff and was served quickly. Β£11 for fish, large chips and a can of Pepsi seemed reasonable. Will return next time!

Amazing services and amazing food I got 1 regular chip, 1 haddock, 1 onion ring (10 pieces), and a curry sauce just for Β£12.20, and they all taste really delicious. The owner even gave me gravy on the house, and he added some chips when I asked to take home my leftovers. I really recommend trying this place out when youβre in the area. Amazing. Period.

Great service. I actually entered it because a coming out customer said that food is great. I was looking anything halal and the chef offered me halal chicken. So nice of him. I'm very grateful! Would definitely recommend.

Went there for a bit of food as I had an hour and a half wait at the local train station as connecting and then a two and a half hour train journey. Did not disappoint one bit. Owner was one of the kindest person Iβve met recently and explained that he charges as low as he can in this cost of living crisis. He wasnβt wrong - Β£5 for a full tray of fish and chips - obviously sauces and things like salt and pepper optional for free if you want. Not only was it cheap, the chips were great and the fish was some of the nicest fish Iβve had in years. Thousand times better than my local fish bar. Will definitely visit again next time Iβm in Crewe. The place has a 5 star hygiene rating which doesnβt surprise me at all - the place was incredibly clean and I saw nothing including no grease except a singular fly which you canβt help against, especially in this heat. Very nice environment. 10/10 and I recommend visiting if youβre a local or if you have some time in Crewe.

I didnβt have much expectations for the fish and chips in the area as the last time I had it in England, it was just okay. I grabbed the haddock and chips which were made fresh. The fish was seasoned with salt and vinegar (no tartar sauce) and I enjoyed it a lot. The portion size was also generous. Unfortunate, I didnβt get to try it fresh (I had a ten minute walk before I got to eat) but I would definitely come back and hopefully try it fresh.
