Our first time at Redwood and we will definitely return. The food was delicious and the service relaxed and very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend.
Can’t believe we were silly enough to wait this long before trying! The quirky decor and country music really created a fantastic atmosphere. The food was absolutely brilliant, had mains and a pudding, both were great! Definitely over indulged but it was completely worth it. The couple that run it are so lovely and helpful, can tell they love what they do and are working really hard on building a fantastic business, can’t wait to see it grow even more so! Don’t be like us and leave it, definitely recommend going and trying it for yourself, won’t be disappointed!
Great evening tonight at Redwood Smokehouse. The food and service was fantastic. We were a table of 9 and each one of us fully enjoyed our food. The platter is a must, gives you a taste of all the delicious smoked meats. We look forward to returning to try more of the menu. Thank you once again for a great evening.
Independent, family run vibes with food that gives the smokehouse chains a run for their money. The "bucket of bones" was enormous. Ribs and wings were great! The burgers are really tender too. I wish we had room for dessert as they looked great. Definitely with the detour if traveling through.
This place is a hidden Gem. I was visiting the area with a friend from the nearby Abdo Hill Farm, and was recommended this restaurant by our host Paul. This restaurant did not disappoint at all. The nachos were absolutely delicious and full of flavour. We both opted for the smoked beef gravy (Beef Brisket) on a brioche bun with fries. Honestly, it was delicious and I would drive back there just to eat that again. The food was so full of flavour and the portions were generous. The price was reasonable too. The service was impeccable and the decor was warm and inviting. Thank you for being one of the highlights of our trip to Market Drayton.
Well this was the first time in going and with my mum having the flyer through her door it was a must. Mum has not been out of the house for 2 years for a meal due to COVID, illness and fear. So we were concerned this may be too much for her, how wrong was I. She ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs and ate the lot. This is the most food she has eaten in 5 months due to poor health. She loved the food, intact she said they were the best ribs she had had in her 64 years. As for me and my partner, he had the full rack as was so quiet I had to make sure he was not in a food coma. As for me I have a chilli allergy. I pointed this out straight away and the cook came to see me. What a lovely couple who run this place. He recommended what I could eat with what I ordered and what I could not and made me a slightly different burger than advertised. BUT omg it was mouthwatering, succulent, tasty and it blew my taste buds. This man does everything from scratch and it's fresh and you can see where he cooks because it's an open kitchen and it GLEAMS with cleanliness. From the moment we walked through the door to eating the sweets paying the bill nothing was too much hassle. Customer care was spot on so I welcome this couple to Rosehill and Shropshire and may it long reign and I wish you all the success in the future. As Arnold Schwarzenegger sai " I'LL BE BACK" ...... Went here tonight with family and my 2 year old and I had to come and leave a review. There's not many places like this. You can't compare this to your hickories. This place is better. Food was fresh and bloody delicious. The owners were accommodating and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. They also both made my son feel extremely welcome and settled, always checking he was OK and had everything and also if we were OK and had all we needed. The waffles and chicken were bloody beautiful and my family wouldn't change a thing about the platter. My husband ordered a burger and he isn't usually a burger man but said he was glad he ordered it as it was delicious. All food was so tasty. Thanks guys and keep up what your doing because your on to a winner..... definitely be back and recommend
Had been recommended this place by a friend, the staff were really friendly and offered help on selecting meals etc. Food quality was excellent, with generous portions! We turned up slightly early for our booking but this was accommodated without any issue, speedy food service, Overall- really good!
We recently had dinner over there, been planning the visit there for quiet some time. It was definitely worth it.. amazing food.. definitely good place for meat lovers.. you won't find the better burger around the area.. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful, it's absolutely obvious that Chef pours his heart and soul into the food he cooks.. Little hidden gem for food lovers..
A really warm welcome, service was extremely friendly and couldn't have looked after us any better. The food here is incredible. Fish tacos were battered to perfection and my whole rack of ribs were tender, juicy and impressively massive. Can't wait to return and try other items from their tasty menu. Thank you Jess and Mat, a fantastic experience.
