The food is always delicious, the staff are always friendly and polite, the portions are worth the money and I'm always full and satisfied afterwards.
Not order from here before . But was really good quality had steak pie and chip and curry source . Also had the home made hot source . Which was very nice
The people running the place are lovely and the food is above average. I order at least once every two weeks from here.
I bought fish and chips, the small chips were okay, but possibly could feed a family of 5. However, the fish was awful, i had to throw it away, i think it was still frozen in the middle, even the cat wouldn't eat it. It was also very expensive. The woman service had a very dirty tabard on, which put me right off
Absolutely love this place for food, always have. Been going hear for years... Mixed kebab & chips are to die for, especially there home made hot chilli paste ❤️
Great chippy this is. In my top 3 chippy in Crewe. The fish are like baby whales, and the chips' portion is massive. Well worth a visit. Lovely couple who own the Plaice also.
Called in here today. Fish and chips were both cooked whilst we waited and well worth it was. Nice sized portion and delicious. My now go to local chippy. Shhhhllllluuuurrrpppp.
Decided to try somewhere new for our fish and chip treat - and were not disappointed!! We are a bit picky in our house, but we were so pleased with our food. Piping hot, really tasty. Portions were just right also. The only tiny tiny thing, and this is just a personal opinion, the mushy peas were quite runny and had a slightly odd taste. Didn’t stop me enjoying my food though - again, just a personal taste. Will definitely be using again. Also a nice polite driver. Something you don’t always get from some just eat deliveries!
The plaice is my favourite chippy in Crewe. Me and my pal used to go more frequently than we do now and we always get cheesy chips and onion rings. Both the quality and quantity of cheese on the chips exceeded my expectations. The onion rings are crispy and salty, just as god intended. The workers are always so kind, efficient and loving- the plaice is very clean and I feel very safe inside. I highly recommend this chippy 10/10 I will miss it when I move soon :( peace and love
