The most awful experience. I found a pair of shoes I really loved, went to the till and asked the member of staff (with short black hair cut in a long bob, fair skin, blue/ brown eyes, small frame) “hi do you have any fresh pairs of shoes in the back because one of the shoes are a bit dirty?” Her response was absolutely uncalled for and extremely condescending and sarcastic “I cannot guarantee that someone’s foot has not been in that shoe!” Etc… As she responded like this, I said “it’s ok, I’ll leave it.” I proceeded to walk out the shop, when I saw her thrash the shoe that she was holding on the box in anger and stormed off. I was in total shock. As I was recording their customer service details down to make a complaint, she then came back and stood about half a meter away from me (no till in between me and her) and accused, argued, and raised her voice at me in front of all the other customers and colleagues. She was extremely aggressive in her approach and very confrontational. She kept reiterating three times that she won’t tell me her name (I asked another colleague of hers only once for her name as I was taking down the customer service details). I will be making a formal complaint against this member of staff because I can honestly say with all the years I have been shopping I have never been treated so badly. Hopefully they have CCTV cameras so the footage can speak for itself. I will not be returning (which is a shame considering I have been a loyal customer for years and years.)

Went into the store today for a pair of skechers for my husband as his new trainers were not very comfortable. The young lady who served me was very friendly and helpful. She even cut off the tags so my husband could wear them straight away. We were on holiday from Gateshead so my husband needed comfortable footwear for the rest of our holiday.

If I could rate 0 star I would! I had a very disappointing experience at this shop today while buying a pair of shoes. From the moment I walked in, there was no help or greeting from any staff. The only person around was a large-built man with an unkempt beard who looked more like a disgruntled customer than an employee. He then stood behind the till giving everyone dirty looks—honestly, I didn’t even realise he worked there until he stepped up to serve. I found my own size without help and went to the till, where this same man served me. He didn’t greet me—I had to say “hi” first. He processed the payment, asked if I needed anything else, to which I replied no thank you. He then said thank you and handed me my receipt. I stood there for a moment, expecting to be offered a bag, which is common courtesy in most shops. Since he didn’t offer one, I asked, “Can I get a bag, please?” That’s when the attitude started. He snapped, “I asked if there’s anything else,” implying that my request was unreasonable. I responded that I didn’t think asking for a bag fell under that question. He then remarked, “Most people bring their own bag,” to which I replied, “And most people buy bags—offering them is part of customer service.” Instead of handling the situation with professionalism, he slammed my change down on the counter—right in front of my young child, with two other customers watching. Disgusting behaviour, and completely unacceptable. As a business owner myself, I’m genuinely shocked someone like this was hired. Customer service is the face of your business, and this man clearly doesn’t want to be there, let alone treat customers with basic respect. Meanwhile, there are so many people out there who are desperate to work and would do a far better job. If management cares at all, I suggest you review your CCTV footage. The proof is all there.

Outstanding customer service delivered by Gina this morning. Nice store. Great value for money.

Good selection of shoes at a fair price. I do wonder whether the protector application service is just a gimmick

Gave up my purchase after terrible customer service from one of the girls behind the til. Despite I wanted to purchase an expensive shoes the girl who served me was pretty rude. And that's really too much, especially before Christmas. It's not the only shop selling shoes, purchased same pair from somewhere else. Not coming back there anymore.
