Great experience with the lovely team! Kristen was so patient and helpful — she let me try on loads of different shoes without any rush. They didn’t have my size or the colour I wanted in stock, so I didn’t end up buying anything, but she was great the whole time. Really appreciated her help!

As a beginner runner I was a concerned that I knew very little about running shoes. I had a gait analysis with Sophia, who was just brilliant. She was very knowledgable and friendly, and explained how everything worked with clarity. A star!
I went into Runners Need yesterday to have a gait analysis and to buy some new running trainers. Sofia did my gait analysis and helped me find the best trainers for me. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all and she had so much invaluable knowledge. I will definitely be recommending this service/ shop to anyone looking to get themselves some new running trainers or get their gait analysed. Great attention. Went for running shoes and the person that was in the store showed a lot of options that could work for me, explained all the factors for the shoes and did a gait test. It was really nice experience.
Really great service in measuring my gait analysis and buying new running shoes. Assistant store manager was very helpful and knowledgable. Even though pair I wanted were not in stock, it was no trouble to locate another pair and arrange delivery to my home address. Will definitely be back again to buy my next new pair!
I went here for doing my gait analysis. The staff was very helpful and they explained the gait analysis process first followed by advice about which type of shoe I should go with. I was also notified about various discounts and offers currently going on.
Having been a loyal customer of Runners Need for years when I lived in London I've been disappointed in the Brighton store. I've tried and failed 3 times to have gait analysis here. First time was a bank holiday Friday and the opening times on Google weren't right - understandable. Second time I booked on their website and arrived at the booking time to find the shop closed - less understandable. Third time I phoned ahead and was told that if I arrived before 5pm they would be happy to fit me in, so I jumped on a bus, went into town, and was told by the man on the shoo floor that actually they had another booking and couldn't fit me in. I explained that I'd come in specifically on the advice of his colleague, he offered no apology at all. I said I'd try the Run Company as I'd made the journey and he said "well you'll be misdiagnosed and get the wrong shoes because they don't know what they're doing", which was unhelpful and struck me as stroppy and pretty unprofessional. The Run Company did a good and thorough analysis and shoe fitting for me when I turned up. I don't think I can be bothered to try Runners Need again after this.
