We visited today for breakfast we waited 45 minutes for poached eggs on toast and mega breakfast, we ordered extra coffees as our breakfast we were still waiting for, once the poached eggs come out the mega breakfast came out wrong after 45minutes ask for tin toms instead of baked beans and got grill toms and beans, we had to eat separately. second coffees come out after the breakfast finally arrived, we see three staff members but a few tables were piled up with washing up. they said they were understaffed the extractor fan can’t of been working as we left smelling of fried food, was our first visit we paid disappointed as the food itself was nice

Please be aware they don't do a all day breakfast, so I had chicken pie from special list. Loads of pie with nice fresh veg, portion of mash on the small side though. Over all the food was very nice. At just under Β£18 for coffee and main.

Excellent find. Breakfast meals were very good. We would definitely recommend this place for breakfast.

Lovely cafe but very very expensive ! we where charger Β£36.40 for 3 x cups of tea, 2 x egg and beacon butty and a bowl of cheesy chips. Thank you to the team, the above error was rectified quickly and i have now updated this review.

Lots of multi-coloured chickens guarding the front door. I think they liked the warmth. Food was good home-cooked cafe things. Good choice of hot and cold drinks. Handy if you are visiting one of the local retail outlets at the same location. The place has a strong Elvis theme - lots of black & white photos from the '50s and a couple of full size Elvis mannequins.

Monday... Tuesday... Happy days.... if you dont know the song you're probably too young to get this place but it's still a fun stop for coffee and cake. I tried the bread pudding and it tasted the same as it looked - horrible - but I did need the calories to ride home on. The cakes and breakfasts looked much better. All up, it was a nice little stop on our cycle ride. Cheap and cheerful.

Enjoyed a delicious home made quiche and a latte by the lake Bliss. The staff were friendly and welcoming as well; which for me, makes the experience
