Excellent food every time! Had toasted banana bread with yogurt and it was so good.

We stumbled upon Tilt Coffee Shop purely by chance - originally heading elsewhere but spotted convenient parking outside during torrential rain. Sometimes the weather makes decisions for you! We ordered two flat whites and some pastries to share, settling at a pleasant window table in the café's second room. The atmosphere was cosy enough for a rainy day refuge. However, I was disappointed by the service execution. Our flat whites arrived in small glasses clearly designed for cortados - a significant difference that any coffee shop should understand. Flat whites require proper cup size to achieve the right milk-to-coffee ratio and temperature retention. This felt like either a mistake or corner-cutting that affected the drink quality. Additionally, I noticed political displays around the establishment that seemed unnecessary for a coffee shop environment. While I respect business owners' right to express views, I prefer my coffee experience focused on quality service and products rather than political statements. This kind of atmosphere could make various customers uncomfortable regardless of their personal beliefs. The location is convenient and the space has potential, but attention to proper coffee service and maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers would significantly improve the experience. Oh, and just noticed that despite their many reviews, they clearly don't believe in engaging with customers, as I couldn't find a response to any of them.

Lovely neighbourhood cafe with a great community vibe in Fiveways. It’s friendly, bright, and a little bit cool, exactly what you want in a cafe. There’s a decent amount of seating both inside and out, making it the perfect spot for some catching up, whether that’s with some friends or on an assignment that was due last week. Cosy in the rain but relaxing in the sun, it’s great! The coffee was alright, a little burned for my tastes, but the beetroot and raw cocoa got chocolate / latte cross-over was delightful. I dunked in a coconut macaroon which was one of the better decisions in my lifetime, a sweet crunchy combo with the silky milky foam. I had a salad while I worked too. This was delicious, the highlight of the visit. A hearty bowl of healthy greens, leaves and sweet potato, everything seasoned and flavoured well with a variety of seeds, sauces and spices. I reckon dinner here (Friday evenings) would be a great little spot.

Lovely menu. Vegan toasties were delicious. Loved the ginger slice. The only issue I had was it was noisy ( not referring to the ambience) - machines were quite loud. The staff were ok. Perhaps it was the end of the lunch shift but they did not seem to be engaged and were quite curt.

Lovely food as usual, friendly staff and good service.

Tilt is a lovely cafe, very ethical and nice staff. Sometimes their opening hours are a bit weird but can’t fault the produce or service. Lovely inside and out, I’ve even started using Bow Wow for my pooches hair cuts

Others dream of conquest, success, fear, terror or elation. I dream of banana loaf. Tilt’s is amazing, as is their coffee.
