Was looking forward to coming to a non pretentious overpriced cafe. Sadly wasn’t to be as it is now closed on Saturday. Other than a song in the door once you’ve gone out of your way to visit no info to say that it is closed including on Google at time of writing. Not very good at all!

Great place to get a quick bite, I've actually never stayed to eat but the place is always very clean and tidy, the girls are lovely and get along well with the customers, 100% recommended

A hidden gem in the busy streets of Brighton. Food was good, staff were friendly and polite, nothing was too much trouble. If I lived in Brighton I'd be here every week. Next time I'm nearby I'll definitely pop in again for breakfast.

Stopped here for a Coffee when at Brighton Station and must say that their Coffee (Americano) is very good compared to some at other stations - with the price being fairly reasonable as well. Not a lot at Brighton Station to choose from anyway, but would look to choosing this one again for a coffee should I need to. We also had an Earl Grey Tea which was fine.

I love a good pasty as much as the next person, so The Pasty Shop ticked all the right boxes for me. I got the perfect lunch for my train trip to Edinburgh. Plus, this little hole in the wall has a great variety of pasties to choose from.

A tale of two visits. Visited on the evening of Monday 5th December. Beer great, but service dreadful. Barmaid was surely and reluctant to serve us until the locals on the other side (who came in after us) had been served. Not just us, another couple as well. Unsmiling, rude, offhand. Returned on the afternoon of 6th December. Brilliant, friendly welcome from the guy behind the bar. It's your job to smile and engage when you work behind a bar.

The restaurant is full of Chinese locals which is always a good sign. The menu is a combination of traditional Chinese dishes and Thai, which is interesting. We had a Sechzuan Chicken and Chicken Satay with special friend rice. We started with duck pancakes. The duck was a little dry, but accompanying vegetables fresh and crisp. Other dishes were tasty but heavy on the onion and capsicum. Service was blunt. Served us well for a last minute convenient meal across from our Ibis Hotel.

Food was very good, clean and nice place but the staff weren't very friendly and my partner's order was served up incorrectly. The vegetarian options were slightly lacking and outside toilet was also a bit of a shock.
